We were delighted with this find. A great place to meet friends or watch an event. Super little gift shops too. We went to watch a ukulele band play and they were super fun. We enjoyed our meet up eith friends too as the atmosphere was lovely. Food good and friendly service. All on one level so ideal for me in my powerchair. Easy access.

Large coffee shop with a good selection of cakes and light lunches. Good place to sit outside in the warmer months and there is a pleasant woodland walk too. Well stocked gift shop and sometimes live music. Nice place to chill for a bit. Dog friendly

Just opposite a farm shop. £1 to park and a lovely cafe with stalls selling some really nice stuff. We just had a soft drink but my friend bought cake to take home and said the home made Wagon Wheels were something else. Interesting place which is home to small businesses and independent sellers. The loo is separate from the cafe and is easy access (I am a lady of a certain age and this is important info 🤣)

Lovely cafe with friendly staff that always make you feel welcome. Love the artisan fairs they hold here and they have a great little gift shop. Food is nice but basic, would love to see some more menu options and the cakes are a bit pricey!

Great place 🥰discovered this yesterday, but wish it had been sooner. Took our dog, and met some lovely fellow pet owners and staff. Yummy food, lovely gift shop and good surroundings.

I am disappointed that they don't offer the healthier option of wholemeal bread, white only. I asked about this, and was told it was because white bread "covered all the options of gluten free and nut free diets"
I pointed out that wholemeal was simply an alternative to white bread. If they think that white bread gives them protection from those with nut and gluten allergies and intolerance, whilst wholemeal dough does not, they are mistaken.
I would have left it with that but the staff member concerned became defensive and intolerant of my suggestion that she should pass my comments up the line to management. I would have felt my efforts to communicate constructive criticism were worth it, if she had simply thanked me for them, instead of saying I was "talking down to her". Not usually a helpful comment when dealing with customer suggestions.
She was unwilling to replace the white bread with salad, since the till wasn't set up for this. Again, not helpful service when they could serve a vegan cheese salad. Just not any other kind of salad.
I really feel they could do better with a little willingness.

Very upset to write a poor review, my children took me here today for Mother’s Day.
We have been many times before unfortunately today was not the same standard we have been used to.
4 out of 5 of us ordered a ciabatta which they all enjoyed I ordered soup of the day, now I know mistakes happen and when the first order arrived it was a bacon ciabatta with a mug of soup we tried to explain to the young lady that was not what we ordered to be met with well that’s what I have here, again I explained that I ordered a bowl of soup and the ciabatta was for my son, again the comment was well I have a mug of soup, this happened a few times, she then understood what we meant but only after she was argumentative with us.
When my soup arrived she proceeded to inform us that they had charged us wrong and started to explain to which she then said I’ll let you eat first and then we will refund you and you will then have to repay.
Unfortunately my soup tomato was not nice at all but as my daughter who had organised the whole lunch was getting upset at the problems therefore I ate it without complaint

I then went and paid the additional £4
I also, considering we made no complaints found it uncomfortable that the male manager wearing a shirt was then talking about us to the waitress they kept looking at us and talking and he moved to the side when he realised I was watching them and continued to talk about us, it was very uncomfortable.

Now I understand mistakes happen and young people need to learn but I think perhaps a little more training should take place and those older people should be guiding the younger staff not coercing them into the wrong behaviour.

The only reason I didn’t complain was due to my daughter being very upset who only wanted to treat me, we therefore left the restaurant and went to the lovely shop on site.

A great find. Plenty of parking, lovely outdoor space for a walk. Coffee shop & gift shop all under one roof. Easy to access other walks off site and have food and drink on return.
