Visiting Costco for the first time can be quite an overwhelming experience due to the vast selection of products available. Even after reading tips online about efficient shopping at Costco, the sheer variety may be surprising. When purchasing your membership, the online process is very straightforward, and verifying it at the customer service desk was efficient. The staff were professional and even recommended an upgrade to my membership, as there was a promotional offer that provides additional value and benefits.

Overall, the experience was positive, particularly with the food services, which were both efficient and affordable. The hot dogs and pizza offered were tasty and reasonably priced. Additionally, the store layout is user-friendly, with goods well-organized in clearly marked aisles. For those planning to visit, it’s advisable to go on weekdays rather than weekends to avoid crowds. It’s also important to set a budget, as it can be easy to overspend while exploring the extensive offerings.

The freshly made food/cakes are amazing. Staff are very friendly and helpful. Great prices for bulk buying.

They have a great selection of Halloween and Christmas decor (added a few pictures).

The only reason for the four stars is that sometimes the pricing for things is missing or not near the item/products, which can get confusing. Also, it can get hectic with people and quite cramped, especially with a trolley!

Costco Thurrock provides a bustling, one-stop shopping experience with a wide selection of bulk products, a busy food court, and additional services like tyre sales and an optical section. Open 7 days a week: 10am - 8:30pm Monday - Friday, Saturday 9:30am - 7pm, and Sunday 11am - 5pm.

You will always find parking outside, and there is also a Costco petrol station for members only, offering unbeatable prices on fuel. You'll always find something new, as the stock changes so quickly, so if you see something you like, don't wait—buy two! 😉

Can be a bit overwhelming if you're not an experienced costco goer but it is a large store with lots of variety and interesting products. I don't find the value as good as people make it out to be but that depends on the individual. Can be quite busy but staff are always friendly.

It can get a bit chaotic when it's the first weekend of the month or weekends in general. The café is good and cheap.

Go on a week day to be able to traverse the store normally and not get in the way of people who aren't paying attention or drive their trolley straight into you.

Good range of items as usual. I saw a lot of exotic fruits like jack fruit and mangosteen. These are really hard to find especially since they are fresh and the quality was excellent 👍.

Very Big Costco, seem to be more friendly kind of ppl over here compared to Croydon's one... Anyways, Weekend guaranteed a queue before opening hours. If u can visit on weekdays, then it would be a better experience as less likely to have some little kids running about while pushing yr loaded 100kg trolley... only recently got introduced to the costco hype by my partner n i see why. With the cost of living going crazy sometimes u do find some good savings, the bottles of water and toilet roll always ppl crowding over it 😅 like these none left. Great selections sometimes the things they have may not be restocked, so just buy it while u can! Bulk buying definitely here is cheaper compared to the normal supermarkets. Must go get some £1.50 Hot Dog with a drink can't go wrong, although the queue to pick up is always long. 4 stars cause the queuing sometimes get super hectic like a human traffic jam the design from the tills need to be improved and replanned for better spacing as the trolleys are twice the size of normal ones. Parking is maximum 2 hrs which is rather short as sometimes u can spend 30 mins just to queue and get out of the building cause they check on the Receipt
