I did not have a single cupcake. Right after my girlfriend tasted the lemon cupcake, she decided I don't deserve such fine desert. I am told they were exceptionally amazing and that is all I know. If you have a girlfriend, be aware.

I especially recommend checking out the Harry Potter ones. Those will surely take your girlfriend into a magical place.

As for the service, it was very nice and the lady was very friendly.

I bought 2 vegan cupcakes for my love, I traveled with them for several hours and they stayed very nice in the box. Other vegan products are often not the best, but according to my boyfriend, these 2 cupcakes were the best of his life. The service was also very nice.

My cupcake was so delicious. I ended up going back two additional times. They have multiple locations all throughout the city, which is very convenient. I would definitely recommend you to grab a cupcake if you pass by.

Lovely place with great cupcakes. Good service. It is located right next to the entrance to the underground station, inside the Liverpool street station. Good selection of Vegan and regular cup cakes. Fresh everyday. Good price too

A lot of us in London grew up eating these cupcakes 🧁. Treat to the eyes. Worth having it. One star less because I’m not sure about the location when they are right at the exit on the stations. They should place them away from where we tap our cards to come out of the station as lot of people are coughing and sneezing around. Otherwise they taste fresh and delicious 😋

From bad to worse, real let down.!
Always bought my Lola cakes online and had them delivered.. but on this occasion I needed the cake that day, so i rang the Liverpool Street station branch around midday and asked them reserve a 7" red velvet cake.. Assistant said ok and was about to hung up. I had to ask her if she needed my name. She took my name and contact number.. I told her I would be there around 3.00pm, She told me they were open till 8.00 so to come anytime.
I went in the pouring rain to get there, only to be told they had sold it.. as you can imagine I was very upset.. and now the birthday girl wouldn't have a cake.. They totally spoilt the day.. a birthday girl with no cake. Smh..!!
The young lady then started giving me excuse as if it was my fault.. The girl was new, company policy we can only reserve cakes for an hour, I rang you but you didn't answer. They hadn't even taken my number down properly.. & none of their policy had been explained to me... Or I would have collected within the hour.
She offered me a small brownie as a substitute for a 7 inch red velvet cake.. see image.
I asked if she could reserve a 7 inch red velvet cake for the next day as I had another birthday and I would be in midday to collect it... This time I rang before going and guess what.. Yes you've guessed it, more disappointments, they didn't have a 7 inch, instead they had three 5 inch ones. I could take two..
I really don't know what to say about the service or their logic.. have the staff been sniffing the powdered sugar or something..
Totally let down not once but twice.. but guess they don't care, it's not their birthday that got ruined...
So well done and thanks for a whole lot of nothing Lola Liverpool Street station branch staff.. best I avoid you..
On a positive note, because of their screw up I ended up going to Doughnut time.. wow, lucky I did, they had good assortment of doughnuts and the pricing is comparable, delicious flavours and the service was great, the staff are well trained and knew what they were talking about and seemed very passionate about their product..

I'm very happy about the vegan options, they tasted great. But the other are tasting yummy, too. They even have cupcakes for dogs now. Every time I visit London, I have to get at least one cupcake.

Omg! I’ve been going Lola’s cupcake over 7 years now, I believe it was Blackfriars’s station where I bought my first batch from. Absolutely love all the flavours, but my highlight is red velvet. It’s divine. A must try! Be warned you’ll be addicted.
