I ordered 2 cakes for my 20th birthday & regardless of my very vague cake inspo, they understood exactly what I wanted and baked me the most perfect cakes for an amazing price and excellent customer service!!

Ordered via Instagram DMs, very quick and efficient response, definitely will recommend this business especially after their renovation that took place quite recently. Cake Street deserves more recognition especially for their milk cakes and cakes for fancy occasions as they do not fail to deliver each time.

BE CAUTIOUS WITH RED VELVET.
Review overdue but my birthday came up again and I recalled my bad experience. However looking at another red velvet cake review 3 months prior, seems the Business hasn't improved!
It was the first time I purchased from them in March 2024. Whilst it was a really pretty looking cake, it was an absolutely disgusting tasting birthday cake. I'll never forget how I basically had to throw the whole cake away and had my day was ruined. I ordered red velvet and paid an extra £10 to get that sponge. It didn't come with cream cheese frosting as they didn't do it as an option...
They put in too much red colouring to the point it tasted bitter. If you're a baker, you should know this would happen. You can tell there was too much colour as well from how the red bled into the white cream!!
The cake layers inside were uneven and just leveled out with too much cream. Overall no one was pleased. It was just before Ramadan last year so I could not be bothered to go back and argue and give them back the cake.
I reached out on insta and they offered the £10 back for the flavour that I'd paid for or go back and collect a £15 tray bake. It wasn't enough but like I said, not worth it to argue just before Ramadan. I also wasn't going to waste money travelling back to get a cake that may taste worse.
Although it was nice of them to give that compensation as I know some would not and would die on the hill about their product. Therefore this redeemed the Business. I'd recommend to avoid red velvet and would get a taster prior to ordering.

I really appreciate the outstanding customer service and how they were incredibly accommodating, even with my last minute date changes. I needed a custom cake for a birthday party and they delivered a fantastic cake! It was the talk of the party - it looked fantastic but equally tasted great. The person I spoke with was so polite and patient when walking me through all the options for customising the cake. So humble too when he came out with the final cake! Would highly recommend this place. I will definitely be coming back.

I recently visited this delightful cake shop and had the pleasure of trying their Biscoff Milk Cake. Tasty cakes at affordable price. Everyone in the family loved it. Had a delicious milk cake after so long.

A special shout out to brother Saud, who was very helpful and made the experience even better with his friendly and attentive service. Highly recommend this shop for anyone looking to satisfy their sweet tooth with some exceptional cakes!

From the moment i stepped foot into this business i just knew i made the right choice coming here. the pink decor around the shop was really pretty and the cleanliness of the shop really spoke to me as a first time customer. you could just tell the owner is on point with the hygiene in this shop. i was warmly welcomed by the front of house staff (a very nice well mannered gentleman) i showed him my invoice and he presented me the cake i had ordered and can i just say wow! i was shocked, lost for words really. i couldn’t believe how amazing the cake looked especially for one of such a low price. just by looking at the cake i could tell how much effort went into making it. the quality was 10/10 and the smile on the staff members face showed just how proud they are of their work, as they should!!! the cake turned out to be exactly how i wanted it and tasted even better than it looked.
Overall the service and the food was outstanding i will definitely be back here for more. i’m looking forward to trying some of their freshly made desserts next time!

My sister ordered a red velvet cake with fresh cream for my nephews birthday. Not only was the cake not red velvet, just red coloured vanilla sponge, the cream also has coconut in it which was not requested by us as guests could have an allergy.This was not the cake my sister ordered and it ruined a great day. It seems as through the establishment has gone downhill the last few months. The cake was also not cheap so we didn't appreciate being lied to about being able to produce an expensive red velvet cake!

The best cake shop I’ve ever been to! I got my birthday, engagement, mehndi, and wedding cakes from them, and they always matched the design I showed. Even on short notice, they provide amazing service. Lovely staff, great service, and delicious cakes—never a disappointment for me or my family.
