The team at Earthwise worked with our architect and main contractor to design and install an excellent MVHR solution on our retrofit of a 1950s house. This was a challenging structure to work on as the ceiling heights were not so generous, so the ducting had to be installed creatively! In conjunction an air tightness strategy, PV, battery, ASHP, underfloor heating and triple glazing we’ve now got a home for the 21st Century.

We have had an MVHR system installed in our bungalow by Earthwise Construction during the autumn of 2024. We were very happy with the service, from the design phase, the survey visit to the installation. All of the company members that we engaged with were very approachable and responsive. The installation was completed with minimum mess and disruption. The actual system itself is working very well and solved our problems of damp and condensation as well as providing fresh filtered air. We would have no hesitation in recommending Earthwise construction and their MVHR systems to future customers.

We had a MVHR system installed into our 1930s house in September 2023 as a part of our attempts to make the place much more eco-friendly. The team were excellent to work with and very helpful. Be aware that it's quite a disruptive process and that you might need to quite a lot of remedial work afterwards, but they were careful to ensure that we knew about this beforehand (see some before and after pictures). The system is working well and we now have really good air quality (verified by a friend with some air quality measuring equipment). Now we just have to do more insulating and airtightness work to get the full benefits...

Earthwise did an extension and major eco refurbishment of our house. The team at Earthwise were great to have on-site each day. They had a positive attitude and the workmanship of the team, led by Bruin, was always of high quality. Any problems or obstacles that came up, as they always do in building projects, were quickly discussed with us with options and their recommendation. All of the trades they used (groundworks, plumbing, electrician, plasterer, roofer) were also top quality and reliable, and they worked collaboratively with the main Earthwise Construction team.
They recommended approaches that focused on energy efficiency in the house (insulation, air tightness, etc) as well as eco friendly building products and materials.
The MVHR system they installed has made the air quality consistent across the house and makes the house always feel fresh. It's a great investment.
I would have no hesitation in recommending Earthwise for building works especially if you were looking to have energy efficiency and an eco focus as part of the build. Our old, damp and draughty cold house is now a warm, dry and solid new house. It's unrecognisable from the old house. The transformation is amazing! Thanks to Ben and the team at Earthwise.
