We had hired 2 skips with this company - never again! First skip did not arrive on the day we had booked it for - we paid in advance and we were even asked if we had preferred time - I said first thing obviously.. Their number was not working, no one responds via email.. My husband found a random number of one of the drivers online, so we managed to get hold of them, they only delivered it the next day in the afternoon! We stupidly gave them the benefit of the doubt and booked the collection and swap with them - again, didn't happen on the day arranged - we incurred more delays with the build because of them. Literally no communication, the skip was swapped 4 days later. No apologies and again, no communications. Moreover, the skip arrived was smaller than what we paid for - we raised it with them and they were adamant it was the correct size. We were treated like we were some sort of idiots and no refund for smaller skip.. Terrible service. Once we had asked them to collect the skip and told them we won't be ordering another one through them - the collection of course didn't happen on the day they said they would collect.. Overall - dealing with them was an absolute nightmare. Do not recommend. If you have a strict schedule - do not use this company. Also, they're not that affordable.. £330 for 8 yard skip.. Rip off.

First rate service, ordered the Skip on Friday asked for an early delivery, 06:45am Monday morning the skip was delivered. The driver was brilliant and put it exactly where I needed it, everyone I've dealt with has been really freindly, helpful and professional I wouldn't hesitate to use Affordable again or recommend them to anyone else.

Lovely guys to deal with. Skips delivered when promised and picked up quickly when notified we were ready. Great price when compared to the larger companies and well maintained skips. Wouldn't use anyone else from now on.

Responsive, professional and friendly company who did exactly what they said they would do. Having used a few different skip companies in the area and Affordable Skips have by far been the best and I will always use them in the future. It's worth the extra £30 or so they charge.

Fantastic company. Gave them very short notice for a 6 Yd skip and got delivered within 2 hours! 👍 would highly recommend trying them. Very friendly driver. Thank you very much.

Just received some disgusting verbal abuse from a member of the team from this company. Totally my fault in that I gradually slowed down and almost came to a stop for a red light that was for the filter lane only (not my lane) but the abuse and vile language that came out of the drivers mouth as we stopped for queuing traffic was totally unacceptable. I had my elderly relative in the car who was left very shaken up. We immediately apologised but this guy was spoiling for a fight and I’m sure would’ve got out of the skip lorry to do some physical damage had the traffic not have moved off. Don’t do business with unprofessional bullies.
