Unfortunately my bike seat fell off out of nowhere whilst I was cycling on a road and I injured my knee badly. I had the bike serviced by Bristol Bike Project in Feb so wasn’t expecting something so dangerous to happen just 6 weeks later. Lucky it wasn’t worse and no cars were around. If a bike is brought in, anything unsafe should be fixed or brought to the owners attention.

Bristol Bike Project has always been my go to place to do the necessary fixes on my bike. They always have the right tools, parts and know how to assist me with my bike during their workshop, Raise the Saddle, and have given me knowledge and confidence!

A unique business with community and care at its core. accompanied by the lovely volunteers.

Really good bike shop/service, I was served by Henry who gave provided me experienced advice on what parts I needed replacing/servicing, whilst being sensitive to my budget.

The resulting service was done with great care and extra repairs which cropped up (such as rethreading my barrel adjuster thingy) were solved seamlessly.

Not only that but they provide a huge amount of charitable services to the local community so you know your money is going to a good cause.

I have just finished the second day of BBP’s bike maintenance course. I no longer feel like a complete bike maintenance numpty. After changing the brake pads on my hydraulic brakes, the brakes actually worked! The teachers were all excellent and the course covers all parts of the bike. It gives you both the theory and guided practical experience. All round excellent.

I heard that they are doing a good job supporting refugees and asylum seekers, so took my bike there to be fixed and support their business. I was incredibly disappointed with the cheap job they delivered and it was so expensive too.
Absolutely lovely and friendly folks, had my bike done so quickly, but literally, the day after I took my bike to a proper bike shop to be fixed and they charged me less.

What a brilliant bunch of people these are. I got my wheel nicked and they totally replaced it, brake discs and all, within the half hour and a fraction of the cost. I'm well impressed and I couldn't recommend them highly enough. Thankyou so much for making my day 😊
