Amazing communication at first and the emails were super professional. Since then we have seen, they seem to have withheld information/not been transparent before we went to get a mortgage for the property, when we raised a big issue. The lady who responds to the emails, gives short and rude responses to things, doesn’t have any decent customer service (I have worked in this industry and the communication style she has is diabolical). We were interested in buying the house however it seems the sellers may miss out on the sale , as the customer service through Everington and Ruddle is something else. We could buy a home through anyone else on the high street and not have to deal with responses like theirs - The lady’s responses scream unprofessionalism.

After using Everington & Ruddle to sell our first home, they were our first port of call when we decided to sell our home this year. After getting several quotes the first time round, I found Everington to be the most competitive, professional & informative. It’s rare to find an estate agent that genuinely care about the sale/purchase of your property once you’ve signed on the dotted line, but I felt that they were with me every step of the way. They provided updates on the progress, liaising with solicitors of both parties on my behalf, and keeping in touch with us throughout the process from start to finish. Thank you!

Excellent service; very good knowledge of local area in particular. We used the company for both our purchase and sale and both proceeded smoothly. At all times we were kept informed of interest and negotiations in respect of our sale and received excellent advice. Wonderful professional service which sold our house quickly despite a few set backs. We were always kept well informed and someone was always easy to contact and quick to respond to any queries. These were the 3rd estate agent we had out to give a valuation on our house. The guy who turned up was rude, completely uninterested in our house and he was negative about everything we had done. This company had a house on the market around the corner so the valuation given felt as if they were competing with themselves and had to under value our house to keep it competitive with the other. No information pack was given, they were completely over priced. Put our house on with another estate agent and sold it within a week, the other house was on the market for 6 months with them.

I have sold two properties with Everington & Ruddle and each time I have found them courteous, professional and friendly at all times. Their advice in all matters is spot-on each and every time. If I need to sell another property in Derbyshire I would not hesitate in using their services. I couldn't recommend them enough.

Really regret using these.
Poor service and no professionalism. Photos were dark and made rooms look small, and they did nothing to sell the house.
I rang them up to take advert down, and went with another estate agents who were brill, and E&R put their old advert back up!!
I rang them up and got through to Geoff the owner, who said they did it because they were disappointed in me that I would "give them the bullet and ditch them", and that I was a "coward" and "lilly-livered" for not telling them I wasn't happy at the beginning, and got into a very petulant and childish shouting rant. I really wish I'd recorded the phone call.
They have still refused to take the advert down, knowing that it's damaging my sale and doesn't help them at all, I really believe it's out of spite.
Please don't use these, there are a number of good estate agents out there, I can see why E&R are so small and don't have good reviews.
