Both of my children have had the pleasure of attending Ducklings for two years each and we could not have had a better experience with not only the staff and the facilities but also and moreso the development of our babies.
Our two, have built bonds with other children, the staff, and the space within which they have had their communication and practical skills nurtured.
As most parents feel, my biggest fear was leaving my children away from home. Rest assured that fear and anxiety was soon put at ease.
Now that my kids are in primary school, I look back at nothing but fond memories and the most heartfelt thanks to the Ducklings team.

We love this nursery! We have been sending our son to Ducklings for almost 2 years and he loves it there. The staff are amazing and create great bonds with the children. Out of the 3 nurserys we visited we felt instantly calm and relaxed as soon as we walked in the door. The care and attention the staff provide is amazing. Thank you for all you do!

This is my daughter’s first nursery she has ever attended and as a first time mum, I was quite reluctant leaving her with people who aren’t family. I can now safely say Ducklings is now my daughter’s family away from home. The staff reassured me and kept close and regular contact so I knew she was okay. I can see photos through the nursery app of my daughter playing. I get sent observations frequently to see what she has been up to. The app is always updated very quickly so I can see what nappies she has had changed, what food and how much she has eaten. I have had a very pleasant experience and my daughter absolutely loves nursery. She has a close bond with every staff member and I truly feel the staff care and love every child.

I have been employed by Ducklings for over a year now and from my interview I felt welcomed and part of a team. You get out of Ducklings what you put in and they are currently really supportive in progressing my career- currently studying my foundation degree alongside my employment.

Ducklings provides a varied training plan and they are always interested in what you would like to to to enhance your own CPD. They are very respectful of work life balance and training mostly occurs within normal workday hours.

I feel fulfilled knowing that I come to work each day and do my best to help the children in my care. Seeing the children happy and the families are really grateful makes it so worth it.

We have sent both our children here from baby room to Nursery class. I have recommended them to friends who have also agreed and sent their children there. The variety of experiences they offer from day trips along the canal, to the library or park and even social visits to the local care home show the variety and breadth of experiences they offer to your children beyond the standard in house activities helping them develop into wonderful young people. They have always fully worked with us to make sure we get the most out of their attendance. Sharing weekly learning plans so we understand what they are focusing

Both my children have attended this nursery so we've been in this property every day for the past 4 years. Both my children are very different and the staff have treated them differently according to their individual personalities, needs and interests but loved them all the same. They come home with smiles on their faces and staff have always got a story to tell about what they've been doing which shows me that they've been watching them. My children have made some lovely friends and my eldest still remains best friends with his first friend! They do provide water... And are reminded to drink it regularly!!! The staff take time to get to know the children and create lovely bonds with them all!!! They come up with ideas to help their confidence grow, work to the children's learning styles and make it fun ALWAYS!!! Xxx

I’ve been a part of Ducklings since May of this year and can safely say that after almost 4 years of working in childcare and having to move from the south west to Nottingham early last year, I have found a home in Ducklings. The staff are all extremely well trained and up to date with policies and procedures. The children are supported and loved throughout all rooms & I couldn’t recommend this place more; not only as a place of work, but also as a childcare setting to send your little ones to❤️

Love love love this nursery! My son has been going here since he was a year old and every day he’s so excited to go. The staff are amazing and the activities they do throughout the day are both fun and thoughtful. He’s come on leaps and bounds since being here and I can’t thank the staff enough for taking care of him and making him feel safe. They provide regular updates throughout the days which really cheers me up when I’m at work. I couldn’t be happier with the service they provide.
