I bought a mix of diy tools and exercise books. The diy tools obviously much more expensive than exercise books as per unit cost. They sent me half the quantity of diy tools mentioned in the auction. When disputed; they offered me a refund by dividing the total bidding price to all the items considering an exercise book roughly £0.50 each and tool roughly £8 as same value and offered me a refund based on the average price. Very disappointed. Can anyone suggest any better bidding platform?

This is a scam business. They advertise items that look great in the pictures, but what you receive is rubbish. They also charge a fortune for delivery. This place should be criminally prosecuted, and I’m shocked that they are allowed to operate legally.

Stay away from them.

They are not respecting EU rules. They banned me when I asked more info how to be compliant.
Be aware that exporting to EU from Bidspotter is not legal and your company even if they pay vat at the border could get penality later.

Thru them, I have attended to Complete Asset Auction of Origin Cine. I have bought a Wacom tablet, stated and pictured that with pen, holder adapter and relevant cables. Just the tablet arrived.

But that was not the biggest scam i have encountered!! I have bought a pc tower workstation from them. It turned out to be a entire metal case! No graphics card, no ram, no cpu, NOTHING IN IT! JUST A BARE METAL COMPUTER CASE!

They have said that they are going to pay %50 as a refund... But than no answer to my calls or emails.

This Auction platform think it alright for Supreme Auctions to constantly and blatantly miss-lead bidders with sell total JUNK and picture of Brand New item with Fake RRP's - then you get a delivery charge which borders on criminal - Then Supreme hide behind T's & C's - Class action is building momentum ,.... All Bidspotter want is their % commission at any cost.

As everyone else states , a platform for scammers , I am not sure why the authorities don't put a stop to it , unless they profit too with the proceeds of crime penalties they eventually receive.

Horrible security and business practices on this platform. I received a random 1000 dollar pending charge luckily that I caught and disputed and hadn't bid on anything. Will be reporting this website and business to the proper authorities.

As a platform for auctioneers, you would expect a degree of vetting. Very disappointed to learn that they do not care about buyers being scammed by auction houses, and in spite of contacting them, they will take no responsibility for your loss or review auction house complaints. Perhaps not surprising as that's how they make their money. They should be ashamed of being associated with Alexander Aurelius auctioneers who hide behind the 'unchecked clause' and send any old rubbish to the buyers. Reported to Trading Standards and the Police.
