We were staying at the glamping place down the road and this is a fantastic option for some breakfast. Loved all the dogs they were so cute but also so well behaved! The man who served us was lovely and chatty. Food all locally produced and delicious. Couldn’t fault anything.

I could give 10 stars to all the above. What a gem of a place. Definitely recommend a visit. Andrew (owner) Margaret the baker and all the staff made our afternoon tea such a treat. Margaret went the extra mile to make my Gluten Free tea so delicious husbands was yummy too

Visited for the first time yesterday for afternoon tea. We were taken to The Snug, a lovely little room with comfy sofas etc, we had this room to ourselves. Andrew and Margaret were very attentive and friendly. Our food arrived quickly, beautifully presented and so much choice. Everything freshly made and all delicious. There was so much we ended up bringing a lot home. We have already booked to return with family.

We visited today and we were both really impressed with this hidden away gem of a cafe. What particularly struck me was the atmosphere and reception when we walked in. Staff were very responsive, thoughtful, friendly and attentive. All locally sourced products/food . All home cooked and an amazing array of cakes. Loads of seating outside of the cafe with views across the country side plus a conservatory really well decorated indoor lounge and a very comfy snug room.

We had a lovely time at your cafe and the cooked breakfast was the best wife had the avocado smash and really enjoyed it, Millie the dog also agreed lol.
We will be back for a piece of that custard before we go back home. Everything homemade. atmosphere great and the weather was great so was able to have breakfast outside. What a gem of a place.

First time visiting, lovely atmosphere and staff. Food was absolutely delicious and we were very pleased to have met Tess the collie dog. They even had decaf coffee and oat milk available. Will definitely be back, a nice hidden gem 💎

Perfect place for great food, especially if you're after something dog friendly. Everyone was very welcoming and the two specials we ordered were excellent. My only complaint was that I was too full to eat cake, so of course we had some for takeaway.
Will definitely be back when we're in the area. Lovely people, go visit you won't be disappointed.

We had been recommended the cafe by a gentleman who we met who lived nearby.

What a lovely place. We had the Rocky Northumbrian breakfast and the Breakfast Stottie. The food is outstanding and there is a lot to choose from.

The cafe looks small when you first enter. Don’t be put off as there are more tables in the conservatory and rooms off. The staff were wonderful and very friendly. Also the resident Border Collies that roam about are very friendly.

Would recommend if visiting the area.

Access is at the side of the farm and there is also a shop.
