We have just stayed at Yeldwood and would highly recommend it. Ed is a very charming chap and after a brief look around when we arrived, he basically left us to it. It's a working farm but if you need anything, he lives just next door. The cottage is bigger than you might think from the on-line photos. Bread, eggs and milk, + tea and coffee are provided (nice touch). We ate out every evening but if you want to cook some breakfast you'll need to bring some essentials like oil, butter, sauce etc. you'll also need to bring shower gel.|The bed is a zip and link and we opted for the king size bed option. It's VERY comfortable! I'm about 6' 4" and my feet didn't overhang!!! The cottage has various levels to it, so there are some stairs (about 20 odd) to negotiate, so be advised if you have any mobility issues.|It's literally about 2 mins drive into Baslow and there are several places to eat. We would recommend The Prince of Wales and The Barrel Inn (get there before the sun sets for lovely views).|We wanted to cycle the Monsal trail, so the cottage is only a few minutes from Hessop Station (bike hire). Or if you like shopping, Bakewell is only about 15 mins away.|Overall, great place to stay. You won't be disappointed!

Yeldwood Farm is a real gem in the quaint little village of Baslow and is within walking distance of 2 pubs and a friendly Italian restaurant. It’s an Ideal location, with pretty walks, Chatsworth, Haddon Hall, and Bakewell all near nearby. We received a really warm welcome and friendly from Celia and she was so helpful to us throughout our stay. The accommodation was just perfect - clean, comfortable, spacious and lots of character. Highly recommend!

We stayed for two nights in the converted barn attached to the farmhouse. It was like having a house all to ourselves. Comfy beds and pillows, lovely bathroom with fluffy towels, lounge with settees and TV, well equipped kitchen to make cups of tea in and super fast wi-fi. Celia came in the morning and made breakfast to order at the time you wanted it. The full English was lovely and cooked to perfection. She also locked our bikes away for us every evening. I would highly recommend this cottage, much better and more relaxing than staying in a hotel.

Beautifully decorated and furnished Airbnb apartment. Situated on an estate farm about a mile from Chatsworth House. Comfortable bed and couches, with all the equipment you'll need for a few days stay.
