I found this gem of a B&B online as I was looking for accommodation near Chatsworth House. The reviews were so good that I had to book it and we were not disappointed. We parked up in the private car park and we received a warm welcome by the two owners and their lovely dogs. The room had private access and we had a small seating area at the back of the house. The room itself was bliss, we could not have wished for more. The owner Chris recommended a walk for an evening stroll to the back of the house and it was a most beautiful walk before dinner at the pub next door to the B&B. Breakfast was scrumptious. I’m vegetarian and I ordered a cooked vegetarian breakfast. I thought they had given me a meat sausage by accident as it was the best I had ever tasted! The farm house breakfast table can seat 8 people and we had lovely conversations at breakfast with fellow travelers but a breakfast served in the bedroom is also available. We were lucky to book an additional night, as we had enjoyed our one night stay so much, and the next morning we walked to Chatsworth from the B&B armed with a map. It was a truly enjoyable walk and we ended up exploring the grounds at Chatsworth as it was a beautiful sunny day. I forgot to mention the delicious cakes in the lounge, all baked by Emily, and they were so scrumptious, I had to go back for more!

What a lovely stay we had at the Robin Hood farm. The hosts were very welcoming and helpful. The room was very comfortable with a king size bed, en-suite wet room (great shower) and a private decked garden area. Breakfast is/was delicious especially the cooked one with pretty much all local produce being used. My wife had the yogurt and fruit compote which she said is the best she’s ever had. We highly recommend a stay and we will be back. Thank you.

A lovely stay for a long weekend. Highly recommend especially if you have a well behaved dog 🐕 .We were made extremely welcome. Breakfast was delicious 🌞Every |Aspect was covered,a beautiful room,comfy bed with crisp linen . All facilities.| A very special treat was a freshly baked cake every day for guests to enjoy. | You will feel so welcome, it's a real home from home. We've met some lovely people and their dogs here. Robin Hood Farm was a great place to stay lovely room, lovely hosts the breakfast was excellent, we had a room with our own garden which our little dog loved and a decking with table and chairs. Carolin is a lovely baker who bakes cakes for everyone to enjoy. We will not hesitate staying there again. Thank you again Caroline and Chris.

We spent 2 nights at this beautiful B&B in a fabulous location close to Bakewell and Chatsworth House. Our room was small but clean, warm and had everything we needed. The en-suite was gorgeous. Breakfast was delicious and the little extras (cake/ water cooler and juices/ fridge with fresh milk in each room) made the experience extra special. Pub next door, also called Robin Hood, was great. We ate there on both nights and had some lovely meals as well as several pints of Wainwrights! (10% discount on food if you let them know you’re staying at the B & B). Unfortunately the weather was terrible but it didn’t spoil what was a lovely break. Highly recommended.

We had a great stay in the Nelson room. Great hosts, they are very welcoming. Good breakfasts and other amenities. Good base for surrounding area. Everything is clean and in good order. Nice gardens. Would definitely stay again. Good base for walking and Chatsworth

I stayed here the night before and night of my wedding, our hosts could not have been more helpful and lovely. The whole place was beautiful, there were so many lovely little touches and all the food was delicious. I also got beautiful photos in the grounds. It was perfect.

Far exceeded expectations. First bed and breakfast I have done in years. |Beautiful rooms.. Fabulous homemade cake.. wonderful breakfasts.. lovely beds and bedding.. plenty of choice.. lovely walks on the door step through fields. Lovely friendly hosts. Great base for exploring the peak district. |Would definitely be my first choice again when revisiting the area.
