I trusted Laura with my daughters 1st birthday cake, and oh my goodness what a wonderful job she did it was exactly what I wanted and more. I wanted a cake that we would never forget and she did an amazing job. Wow! What can I say Laura makes the MOST AMAZING cakes. I have attached pictures of just the ones from this year. Nothing is impossible for her and the detail in every cake is just out of this world. She is also a lovely lovely lady that makes getting cakes sorted the easiest job. I just give her a theme and trust her to make it because I know it will be amazing. I cannot say a bad word about Laura and the business as a whole. I will never use anyone else for cakes now. The added bonus - they taste just as amazing as they look!

Laura is amazing!! Great space to work in, in her immaculate kitchen. He teaching style is so relaxed and she will wait for you to catch up. Had such a blast learning how to make a baby Groot cake topper. So helpful and very down to earth. Cannot recommend her enough!

I placed an order for a sculpted cake to be made of the Toy Story character Rex, for my partners birthday. Service was great, no problems or delays.

My husband and I absolutely adored our wedding cake made by Laura at Sugar Spice Cakes. We were very keen to have a non-traditional cake which reflected us, full of creativity and originality. We shared our ideas for several features we envisioned making up the cake (our dog, skulls, ballet shoes and ice hockey kit were a few). Laura drew up an initial sketch and instantly I loved it and couldn’t wait to see it made of chocolate!
When it arrived at our evening wedding reception, after our destination wedding, I was absolutely delighted with it. I really didn’t want to cut it as it was such a masterpiece. So glad I did, it was absolutely delicious!!

We asked Laura for a gluten free chocolate TARDIS birthday cake. We knew we'd found the right company when the reply came back: "which Doctor's TARDIS do you want?" (Answer: Matt Smith) The result was outstanding. Everybody ate the cake - you couldn't tell it was gluten free. A delicious work of art - the hit of the party! Thoroughly recommended.

Laura made my son birthday cake for his 2nd birthday. I asked for billy and bam bam and didn’t give another ideas and I can honestly say Im not disappointed the design was spot on. This was my first time using Laura and I’ll admit I was very nervous seeing the cake for the first time and when I see it I was honestly blown away I even had a tear in my eye. But my sons reaction was the best his face lit up the whole room and he was so excited! The cake didn’t only look amazing but the taste was amazing too my mum even said it was better then her wedding cake and it was the best cake she’s ever tasted and we all agreed with her. The icing was perfect not too sweet and sickly you usually get with cakes. Laura is amazing at what she does and I would recommend her to everyone. I will definitely be back for more cakes in the future. Thank you again Laura for making my son so happy on his birthday.
