Had a wonderful day visiting the animals at Barleylands!
We were lucky enough to visit during the Easter period this time, so we got to stroke some chicks, which were so cute and tiny!
We also attended the small animal stroking which we loved because we have Guinea Pigs of our own, so always jump at the chance to meet other ones.
There was also a bird flying show and a tractor & trailer ride which we enjoyed.
All in all a lovely day out, and we will be returning in the future for sure!

Daughter loved the park here more than the animals!! Had a great day mooching around and doing lamb feeding and then chick holding. We went to watch the resident entertainer doing a magic show, but he was rubbish. My 5 year old daughter asked to leave as she found him boring. We had watched 20/25 mins of the show and no magic had happened, so I walked out with her and we carried on going around the farm.

We've never been to the Village part of the Farm before. There are a good range of craft/gift shops on site. We only went into the Wilkinson Jam Tea Shop. Which I have to say, was a delight! Such a wonderful selection of Jams, Preserves and Sauces, I bought several home with me!
They also have Alcoholic beverages and Teas to buy.
The Staff were very helpful and friendly. And I definitely recommend a visit.
We didn't have a look around the farm, having owned many of the animals there myself in the past. It did seem rather expensive for a family to enter, I'm not sure how it compares with other Farms in the area? But, the price is definitely on a par with the cost of going to a Zoo.
All in a, it was a pleasant trip, we also visited the Barleylands Farm Shop, which is on another site. There we found a great selection of both Fresh and Store Cupboard produce, we will definitely be doing more regular trips there, although they do also offer a free delivery service.
I definitely recommend a visit!

Well done to all the staff working there, the farm is a fantastic place! We've had a lovely time visiting the animals and the birds; the playground looks very well, everything looks very well taken care of.
Just for £1 a bag, you can buy food and feed the animals. This has been an amazing experience for young children. Toilet facilities in very good condition and clean, absolutely spotless !
A wide range of farm animals, plus more ! Totally recommend the place, we will definitely come back. We had a fantastic time!

Wonderful farm to visit for the kids. We love it here and we bought annual memberships.

Plenty of animals to see, outdoor and indoor play areas for the kids, little café for a bite to eat, a walkthrough wallaby section. Our children love coming here and we do too. There's a museum showing old tractors, tools and teaching about the history and purpose of farming. There's a dark area for certain animals (bats, spiders etc.) There's honestly so much here to see.

There's plenty of parking, plenty of disabled parking and it's all wheelchair friendly/accessible.

There are tractor rides throughout the day, where you can sit in a trailer and go for a ride. The trailer is purpose built with benches and a roof etc. The kids absolutely love it.

I would recommend coming here definitely. The only bad thing for us, is the aviary has been unused for a long time. I hope they have plans for it in the future. Overall though, it's a wonderful place to visit.
