So much more than a butcher's shop. A really wide range of delicious, ready prepared meals, pies and specialities; such a time saver for working people and knowing that it's all prepared with the care you'd take yourself. Really reasonably priced and lovely, friendly and helpful staff. I wish we didn't live so far away!

My dad was raised in Bo'ness and everytime we visit the family we always stop by Thomas Burns for a steak pie and square sausage. The absolute best pies and square sausage in Scotland! Even my friends down Newcastle love it!

We was staying near Bo’ness and I found this butchers on my last day... as you do. I bought some haggis to take back to my family/friends in Cheshire. I also bought different meals prepared In foils to pop straight in the oven, that night we had chicken balmoral, my god it is delicious. The morning after we was leaving so I filled our chiller with everything we had bought and I still had more room so we popped back in and bought more of the balmoral. Devastated that this butchers is 5 hours away from me, I would certainly be a regular customer. P.s on the Saturday morning when I went I had to wait in a queue to get in, now that’s always a good sign. Lovely service off the staff and they was extremely helpful in telling me how to cook things. Definite worth a visit if you are from out of town
