So,,, I have been here before! Liked it. Great beer, good service, nice ambience! And I always had it as my target for a good walk across the Ochils to a sweet, sweet reward.
Which I did today! Set off from my door at 6 in the am. Navigated my way across the Ochils with the solid aim of walking in at 2pm,which I accomplished! Limping down the high street I could see the board beckoning me, enticing me ever forward to my well deserved nectar! My prize?
A piece of paper on the door telling me that it was closed! On a Saturday! In absolutely amazing weather! People milling about everywhere! Summer vibes in may! Yet the door was firmly shut! Locked! My passage blocked! This far, no further! The westerton got my business!
So you get 1 star!

What a gem! Dogs welcome, great pizzas and incredible beers and ales! My wife and I along with our little sausage dogs had a lovely time, the owner even sat down with us when I asked what he recommended for beers, truly someone who cares! Will most definitely be back and cannot wait to try the jazz band night every month!

Brilliant cosy little place this and the staff are great, the ales are excellent (especially the one with the heather tips, can't remember the name)

The pizzas are bang on and the atmosphere is lovely and calm, will definitely be returning again.

Oh yes, and the scrumpy is absolutely lethal, tastes lovely and more like apple juice than cider, could definitely get carried away with it!

A great place to visit in Bridge of Allan, always a warm welcome, some amazing beers and gins + fantastic stone-baked pizzas (William Wallace is my favourite). I would also highly recommend reccomend a brewery tour, where Douglas shares his experiences and shows how they brew their beers.
