Stopped here for breakfast. Easyto get to from motorway. Lot's of parking. As always a lovely shop. The decor in the restaurant was really nice, countryfied.. cosy and homely. 2 full breakfasts, with hot drink, juice and slice of toast for £18. Yes please. No issue's swapping black pudding for sausage and adding a hash brown on. However, no beans and we didn't realise until we finished and saw another breakfast going out!! And the sausage was square sausage, so the person who ordered extra sausage doesn't particularly like square sausage😔. Doesn't state on menu that it was square sausage. Person who did eat his square sausage said it was tasty. Black pudding, fried egg and bacon was ok. Mushroom was cooked in butter, delish. Toast ok. Served with plenty of butter portions. No hassle to get extra hot water for pot of tea. Coffee was nice.
Bought 2 trays bakes to take away, £6.90.
Service was good.
Did mention about beans and sausages at till, when asked if everything was ok. Told that they do have link sausage and that we should have been asked, but they have only had both for 2-3 months. So next time state....

Toilets nice and clean.
Would visit again.

Love this place. Lots of lovely gift ideas and the restaurant is fab, every meal we've had has been delicious. There's a dog friendly area which we used when socialising our puppy and the staff are lovely as well as extremely efficient. Can't recommend Caulders enough.

Lovely cafe. The menu has something for everything. Great cakes and fish and chips are worth a mention. Finish of with a walk around the wee gift shop.

Small but friendly garden centre.

Well laid out and easy to get round.

We happened to visit as they were preparing for Christmas (early November) so there weren’t many plants, but lots of Christmas things.

The staff were friendly and helpful.

We didn’t eat but the restaurant looked clean and inviting and smelt great.

Pretty sure in summer you could get a broad selection of plants.

Nice location and seems like the cafe was very popular with local people, which is always a good sign

What a marvellous place! I am very impressed with the friendliness of the staff, the high quality of the patrons, the divine food cooked with the very best fresh local produce and the superb Old Jamaica ginger beer! Don’t let me start on the cakes and desserts! Next time it is tea and scones with cream and jam! And the shop! Wow! I bought a lovely bath soap (gardenias) and a pair of wellies for walking the dog. Next on my list is the garden fountain. Plants were also very reasonable. And a great selection of (a little too dear but very high quality) garden decorations. Definitely worth a visit!

Went in on Fri 17/3/23 for lunch, was given a buzzer untill our table for two was ready, we hadn't long to wait & just wandered around & when we got to our table it was for 4 & i tried 4 of the chairs which were far too soft & when my LUKE WARM curry & parsnip soup 🍲 came my chin was nearly in it 'cos my chair was too soft 🤣 just as well that the soup was luke warm or I could have burnt my chin. I forgot to mention that, tall Jamie took our orders & asked us all the right❓❓ie. if my friend wanted brown or white bread with her sannies etc... Anyway the waitress took my Luke warm soup away for a wee while & then returned it & it was nice & hot 🔥 and it tasted lovely.
The mince with the mashed tatties & peas tasted brilliant & of course, so did the meringue.
It was all a bit pricey but all our plates were polished off.
Will return from Grangemouth again to try their macaroni & MATURE cheddar cheese.

We wandered in again on Saturday 17th Feb 2024. I wanted to have as their main course - their lovely tasting mince, tatties & peas. We were shown to one of the lovely many rooms called the DOOCOT & served by a pleasant girl called Ali, & I'm sorry if that's not not spelt right, but it would be good to have name tags showing.
Anyway my main course came on a COLD plate which i don't appreciate & as soon as i tasted the mashed tatties - they were far too salty. I can honestly state that i've never had mashed tatties tasting like that before & i told Ali about it & it was no bother for her to rectify the problem & i agreed to have their chips instead of the mashed tatties. Now they were PROPER chips & NOT the skinny fries 🍟😁
The very pleasant plump manageres in the lovely dress who was serving tables as well came up & apologised.
PS. I should have asked for another shot of coffee to be put into my lattie & the price of my mains had gone up [which was expected] in price since the last time i was in by about two quid 😱
We will still return to this lovely COSY garden ctre. & get sat into one of their other rooms despite all that.

Back to the DOOCOT once again on Sunday 18/2/24 it was to try out their soup & sannies BUT i changed my mind & had a baked tattie 🥔 & a 🍓 tart & a short bleather with Shona the manageress who likes to get mucked in with the pleasant, friendly workers or waitresses. 😁

Back in again on 24/8/24.
Had their sausage hot pot & I was very pleased that the plate was hot🔥when it came & if you like plenty of gravy - thats the place to go to.

The vegetables were spot on not too hard & not too soft & it was the same with the pork link tasty sausages & the mashed tatties were very nice indeed.

My apple tart & hot custard were both spot on.
I could even eat the soft crust on the apple slice & the custard wasn't too runny or too thick - it was just the right consistency.

Now what I observed was that ALL the waiters I met were very nice & I was served by a most pleasant young tall blond girl called Ava kept asking me if I wanted any water to drink - but I was ok with my pot of T although I did ask for a small pot of hot 🔥 water to top it up & the T pot & the 🔥 water were sat on a napkin to stop the heat from disapating onto a cold surface - great idea 👍 😁

A cafe in Banockburn would have charged me 50p for the privilege, but not here.

I had a good long bleather with the manageress Laura & she was very friendly.

So pay them a visit & enjoy a lovely meal - they use the best of food items & that's probably why they may be a bit dearer than other places, but it's well worth it
