We had a fantastic experience with Jenna on the riverbank safari. We were lucky to spot several beavers and a few otters - but even if we hadn’t it would’ve been well worth the tour. Jenna was very knowledgeable and passionate and fielded our (very many) questions with so much enthusiasm. She made us feel confident about spotting them ourselves in the future. A highly, highly recommended experience that makes for a memorable afternoon

My partner and I went on a beaver safari to celebrate his birthday. We had a wonderful time. Jenna was a friendly and knowledgeable guide and we saw an entire family of beavers swimming around outside their lodge. I'd strongly recommend the tour to anyone with an interest in Scottish wildlife.

Amazing beaver and wildlife tour in Scotland! Coming up from London, I was very keen to learn more about Scottish Wildlife. Daniele is an excellent and knowledgeable tour guide, starting off with some ace beaver facts and then taking us around the grounds to spot signs of beavers including chewed up logs, signs of beavers improving biodiversity and some very impressive dams! We ended the tour with watching the beavers swim around their lodge and even a big splash from a tail. Very exciting 🙂

I would highly recommend these tours for anyone wanting to get outdoors or learn more about Scotland's wonderful wildlife. I feel much more informed not only about beavers and why they are so necessary to help the climate and nature crisis but a lot more about Scottish Wildlife as a whole.

Amazing experience! The beavers were out and about and we got to see them for a good couple of hours. Lots of photos opportunities. Our guide was excellent and clearly has a lot of knowledge. Lovely to see beavers thriving and being able to see them in the wild without disturbing them.

Beaver safari was excellent and Daniele was very knowledgable and passionate about the beavers, conservation and the riverbank environment. She showed us the usual habitat that beavers like, signs of their presence and food they like. We also tasted some wild garlic and other edible plants.
We saw two beavers active on the river and as you cant predict wildlife activity it was a little slow to start with however Daniele investigated other parts of the riverbank incase they were elsewhere.
Lovely just sitting on the bank however we also had a fleeting visit by an otter, kingfisher darting past and a pair of goosanders swam joined the party as well.
On the walk back to the car we saw a lot of bats swooping about too.

Danièle is an absolutely fantastic guide with an expert knowledge of beaver ecology. Her guided walk gave us great views of beavers and their various behaviours - swimming, feeding, grooming and transporting vegetation along the river. It is clear she has spent a lot of time observing beavers in the wild, being able to recognise individuals immediately.
I loved it so much I returned the week later with my parents, who really, really enjoyed it and it was their first encounter with beavers in the wild. A really memorable birthday trip for my Dad!

Took the evening safari, met up at 7pm, short drive/walk to the river Ericht, perfect small group, 2 couples and our guide. What a marvellous evening! Jean gave us a short, very informative, talk before we made our way to the riverbank. Saw our first beaver swim by virtually immediately. Over the next couple of hours we had 20+ sightings of beavers, some kitts, 2 beavers at once, beaver taking a branch into the river. We were also lucky with the weather. Honestly, it could not have been better. Highly recommended.

What a great experience!

Danièle was a super guide - it was so lovely to be led by someone who has known the land and it's flora and fauna for such a long time.

We got to see how the beavers affect the rivers and land, before settling down and spotting them coming in and out of the den.

For anyone on the fence wondering if it's worth it, IT IS! So much fun, and will definitely be back for the canoe tour next year 🙂
