I went today with my 2 daughters & we had a lovely meal. The service was top notch from Mags. You know you have a good server when the kids remember their name. Had some lovely home made cakes as well & the milkshake vending machine. Over all a great experience & we will be back. Thanks MAGS your an asset to the coo shed ❤️

Discovered The Coo Shed during our trip to Ayr last April and so glad we did! Wonderful cafe with great food and the milk so good. Definitely worth a stop for anyone traveling in Ayrshire. Looking forward to our return visit this September!

Just another note- returned in October and got a bottle of milk to use during our stay. Brought home our Coo Shed bottle and makes a great souvenir for storing our cream at home!

Update: Returning to Ayr in a few weeks in later May and sent them a message to request an order to pick up. They were super responsive and answered my message at 10:00pm! Accepted my advance order and were so helpful! Can't wait to return and have their wonderful milk and baked goods!

Day trip from Paisley after seeing this working farm on TV. It didn’t disappoint as we sat on the picnic tables (dog friendly) and had a lovely lunch. Staff were very attentive and work hard to deliver an excellent experience. Sandwiches/wraps are awesome (as are the cakes). We then went to the gift shop buying fresh strawberries and a rosemary plant. Following this we visited the vending area. This is fantastic and we purchased fudge brownies, a large old school sponge and couldn’t leave without a fudge brownie chocolate milk.
As we returned to the car with the Coo’s mooing excessively the farmer drove past in his green tractor waving to 2 young kids making their day even better.
Recommended The Coo Shed to friends and family however we will certainly be back again soon.

Cool little place to go with the family. THE milk machine is open 24/7 for those that are not aware. It’s the restaurant that is not open. The place is nice with the cows roaming the food is good and always busy from when I’ve been its constant only issue is that it sometimes takes a little longer as it’s so busy. You can pay cash or card for the milk and desserts that’s open 24/7

I would like to express my sincere gratitude for the wonderful lunch I had at your establishment today. The food was absolutely delicious, and I especially enjoyed the [insert specific dish you enjoyed]. The service was also excellent, and the staff was very friendly and attentive.

However, I would like to raise a concern about the cost of the meal. I understand that the cost of living has increased significantly in recent years, and I appreciate that you are trying to keep your prices competitive. However, I believe that the current prices are a bit high, especially for the local community.

I appreciate your restaurant is constantly busy, ( quoting from past experiences ) however, we were still a bit taken aback by the price for two soups, a small main course and two coffees …. £40.00. Anyhoo, see you next time 🤔😵‍💫😁

The cafe is a great place to visit, the food is great and the staff are extremely friendly and helpful.

However, it is the unique vending machines that bring me back twice a week. You can get fresh milk, from the cows that graze on the farm, dispensed to you 24/7 in a reusable bottle.

On top of that you can get some of the fantastic cakes, which are also served in the cafe, from a vending machine.

This is such a great idea, with ice cream soon to also be on offer.

Fab wee farm cafe, great variety of food on the menu, all home made, great staff and quick service, cakes were all looking fantastic! Love the cow designs all over the cafe and bathrooms! Cute wee gift shop and also managed to get vending machine milk!
