Dobbies Garden centre has a great selection of plants as well as house decorations.
If you want to have a beautiful garden you can find all your luxurious needs here.
The clothing shop inside also has good quality items.
The restaurant looks very cosy inside with a lot of plants around it.
The waitress was outstanding, and the food was exactly what I was looking for. We had our breakfast here.
We were so pleased with the service.
We were very impressed with the quality of the food and desserts we received.
The restaurant also has a great cake selection.
If you are passing by this beautiful town in Scotland, called Ayr make sure that you have a drink and food here. I can highly recommend The Dobbies Garden centre.

Plants looked good and nice and healthy, however a little too expensive for me and other clients were saying the same thing when we visited.
A great shopping experience offering a vast selection of goods. Again, some are a little too expensive for me.
A nice cafe with an exceptabile offering of cakes and snacks.

They seem to have a problem actually pricing items in this garden centre. Not sure why, since staff are usually tripping over each other. The cafe is generally staffed by a lot of very young, disorganised people behind the counters who lack any form of civility or people skills, and are more interested in flirting and chatting with each other. Why are they clearing food away at least an hour and a half before closing time, and making customers feel unwelcome. Almost like they don’t want customers. Won’t be back.

I went into the cafe with my daughter and 6 month old granddaughter today just before 4.30pm. We only wanted coffee and a scone. The cafe was very quiet, and the young woman behind the counter made it very obvious that she wasn’t interested in serving us, and started to walk away. My daughter called after her, asking if there were any fruit scones left, to which she replied a very abrupt ‘no!’ We asked for a cherry scone instead. We walked to the counter where we expected to be served, to see the young woman disappear into the kitchen area, without any acknowledgment whatsoever! We found that the scone had been placed on a plate and left on the counter at the top end of the serving area!
It was obvious that we weren’t welcome, maybe because it was later in the afternoon? Her attitude was so bad, and very rude, and if she’s on duty next time I’m in the cafe, I shall refuse to be served by her!
I’ve never had any issues with other staff, who are all very helpful and friendly.

Shop at Dobbies through out the year went in today for some last minute gifts.I have never seen this centre so poor unsold stock from last year on display shelves stocked to look full. Unable to find Christmas cards asked an assistant was directed to a stand as you go to outdoor area I have seen a better choice at budget stores no prices on any cards or a guide for prices. Very poor in comparison to past years sad too say left without making a purchase

Visited dobbies this morning, ordered bacon roll with 2 potato scones on the side, was disappointed to find 1 small bit of bacon on 1 side of roll😫 took it up to the counter and the lady kept saying it's a 3 item breakfast roll deal which I never asked for! ( wish I'd took a picture) , wouldn't have wrote a bad review, if a member of dobbies staff had not approached our table and with attitude said" I believe there is a problem with bacon roll" and insisted on the 3 item deal which I never asked for, was happy to pay whatever to have bacon on whole of roll. She kept persisting with attitude that I was in the wrong, so I politely said we would end the conversation as there was no talking to her, staffctraining is needed !!

Very disappointing visit to the cafe yesterday afternoon. Every single table in the conservatory had dirty dishes which weren't cleared for the entirety of our 40 minutes there. I can understand that the staff are very busy however this is very off putting. We are regular visitors and have absolutely no complaints about the staff who are very hardworking, helpful and cheerful even when under great pressure. They are lovely. However a few more staff available for table clearing duties would make a considerable difference. And £1 for a two fingered KitKat? Really?

All of the Christmas items are now available. They have created a very festive atmosphere. Some of the items may seem a bit overpriced for their worth, but the quality of the items is excellent.

My wife and I visited the store to see what they had to offer. They have a wide variety of beautiful trees, ornaments, and other Christmas items. I encourage you to visit the store to see what they have available for you.
