Was on a visit home to family in glenburn at the weekend and a trip home wouldn’t be the same without visiting tullochs,

Best black pudding in the world ! £12 a stick absolutely amazing, and the square sausage & smoked cure bacon yummy

One of the last real butchers left with actual trained butchers not like these jokers in Elderslie and Paisley selling pre cut meats and gimmicks like "Chinese pork" or "chicken fajita mix". Because it's a real butchers if there's something not on display you can easily just ask for it and one of the boys in the back will prepare it for you. People should support butcher shops like this with REAL butchers, as they're a dying breed.

Went in to this butcher shop for the first time today because Morrisson's butchers didn't have what i wanted. It has the best l meat I've seen in any butchers for a long time and the taste was as good as it looked. Can't recommend this butcher enough. Thank you !

My family have been shopping at Tulloch's for around 50yrs and for good reason.
The meat is as good as you're likely to find anywhere in Scotland meaning everything they do - is done well.
Their classic burgers and sausages, haggis, and other homemade recipes taste better than their mass produced rivals.
Their Steak pies, scotch pies are delicious and can even be delivered.
The staff know the regulars by name and will have a chat with you as they're putting your order together.
Would give them 6 stars if I could.

An example of a dying breed: The caring family butchers, and a pillar of our local community. Not exactly cheap so be prepared to pay a bit extra for quality. If you want cheap meat to stretch the family budget then head for our local supermarkets (despite one comment our local supermarkets do offer decent quality, nutritious meat, but not quite to the standard of our local butcher). The steak link sausages and rib roasts are my particular favourite. Yum. Also, if you are lost for inspiration then I find that a question results in very useful answers, he will gladly sell you all of the ingredients to make your own steak pie. You will find cuts of meat not found elsewhere, eg his oxtails and pigs trotters.

I love this place!
