I try to get my bread from here as often as I can ! It is simply the best - homemade, fresh, with healthy ingredients! None of the additives you get from supermarket bread! And the smell/taste first thing in the morning is divine !

Very helpful people working there! Well organised, tidy wee shop with loads of stuff in it. Just went for a bag of coffee for my camping couple weeks ago, one of the best grind I've had(they grind the beans for my need , still enjoying it.

Happened to pop in on the off chance while passing through the town and OMG I am so glad I did ! However my waist line will not thank me … we where served by a lovely young lady who was bubbly and really polite. I purchased a chocolate brownie and I literally died and went to heaven when I took a bite. My partner loved the Victoria sponge and we purchased a curry to have the following day and that was full of fresh yummy ingredients. I 110% recommend this place.

Have put up with the owner’s unpredictability in this store over time, but feel a review is required to both praise the shop and warn others who may intend on becoming regular customers, of the unpredictability of the male owner’s behaviour. He is prone to lashing out without warning on the shop floor, and being highly unreasonable towards customers. Those who are not as hard as nails may find themselves humiliated and un-necessarily over-charged. 😮
Extremely difficult to work for and with, I am sure (and in dire need of trauma therapy, anger management, and social skills training), one can only feel sorry for the WONDERUL staff and ladies who work there and thank them for the great customer service.

The range and price of foods is excellent. The gluten free brownies are thee best. As is finding familiar items such as produce from the local Tomnaha Market Garden and Olives Et Al, which I tend to order directly anyway. It is a shame but one gets to a point where the level of aggression and misery directed at other people who have their own concerns to deal with, is just so bad that it is better to shop elsewhere. There are in fact many great alternatives to choose from within a five mile radius of the local area - smiling faces and good manners to boot!

Ruthless greed is what has shocked me most about coming back to Scotland. 😢
