Craig the cheese maker was friendly, professional and extremely knowledgeable.

The tour started with a cheese tasting, with Craig explaining the process and how the cheese is make. This was followed by a tour, including meeting the goats, sheep and pigs.

Amazing stop off on our way to Edinburgh. I had the soup and scone lovely staff and great food thanks! There are woodland walks too. During the summer months there is a takeaway hut. You can buy lots of specialist cheese, real ales, gluten free pasta and other food items. The cakes looked amazing!

We had a wonderful time at Errington Cheese! Our guide, Craig, was very knowledgeable and enthusiastic about his work. We tasted 5 very different and delicious types of cheese, and easily decided to buy some and include a stop at their shop whenever we are in the area. We saw the cheese production and storage areas, and we visited the goats and their very cute and cuddly kids. A highlight were the 'forest range' pigs who came running to get their daily drink of milk.

We visited in September of 2023 for a tour which we booked through an offer on itison. The tour was great. Fantastic to see all the animals and learn about the process of cheese making but the best part was, of course, the cheese tasting!

All of them were fantastic but my personal favorite is the Blackmount. I'm salivating thinking about it! We've popped in 3 more times to pick up goodies when visiting friends nearby and haven't been disappointed by anything we've bought.

The oatcakes they sell on site are fabby. They're the perfect base for almost all their cheeses. I love them with a bit of Errington goats curd and some beetroot "chutney" that I get from a Polish deli near me. Absolutely divine!

And, don't miss the cafe. It's small but cozy. When we visited there was Mac and cheese on the menu and it was so good. Small menu, all cheesey (what do you expect) but quality is top notch.

We had a great time at Errington Cheese for a tasting and tour, followed by a lunch at the barn just up the road.

Craig was a great guide, and we learnt lots about the cheeses.

Can’t wait to order some for our wedding next year

We popped in for some cheese which was incredible! My personal favourite was the "black mount" cheese. Craig was a very knowledgeable and friendly guy who took us to feed the pigs AND got to hold and pet the very cute baby goats!! A fab trip 😊

This experience was a gift from my son. On the day, we received a warm welcome from Craig, cheesemaker, and our guide for the day.

First up was the tasting, which included a variety of Errington cheeses, plus a guest cheese. The selection was varied, but all were very tasty.

Then came the tour of the premises, the highlight being meeting the animals. My wife even got to cuddle a baby goat!

The experience lasted about an hour and a half in total, and was thoroughly enjoyable from start to finish. Craig's in depth knowledge and witty one liners kept us engaged at all times.

We enjoyed the cheese so much, that we headed to the nearby Errington's Barn cheese shop and restaurant for a bit of lunch (also delicious) and a load of Errington Cheese to enjoy at home.

I'd highly recommend this experience to anyone, particularly you cheese lovers out there.
