Bought the gluten free Lorne sausage mix because I have recently found out I have celiac disease and my local butcher does not make gluten free sausage. It tasted more like a burger than sausage. To be honest it would have made a good burger but it was not what I ordered now I'm eating a burger for breakfast in the morning instead of sausage, not ideal at all

Excellent product, backed up by probably THE WORST CUSTOMER SERVICE on the planet. I am a Chef in a Café in Spain and decided to be a bit different and make my own sausages. Ordered from Amazon for Tongmaster to have goods delivered to Enfield and be shipped to me in Spain. Never delivered to Enfield! Ordered from Tongmaster to have goods delivered direct to me in Spain. Goods arrived...I was impressed, quality product! Ordered once or twice more...Received bags of seasoning with "Lincolnshire Premium Sausage Seasoning" on the labels, but not in the bags! I was in the middle of a conversation by email with the General Manager regarding this, when the conversation ceased abruptly... Re-messaged...No Reply...Sent a message through the "Contact us" tab on the website, heard that the General Manager had gone on holiday! Eventually (3 weeks later) received the Lincolnshire sausage seasoning I ordered. Had been paying Tongmaster 3,99 for 250g sachets of seasoning...That's 15.96 per kilo... So when I found another supplier online, advertising Sausage Seasonings from 5.69 a kilo I enquired of Tongmaster, whether that did a trade rate... After all... I'm a trader! I received a response from Joe Sands... Here's the conversation: - Hello Joe,

I ordered from you a few months ago, after an email conversation I had with you personally, in which you told me the Trade Discount applies across all seasonings. I seem to recall that the box I ordered at the time was for 7 kilos of assorted seasonings only 2 of which were for 1kg and there was no problem! Indeed, it was memorable for me, because you sent me 3 of the bags I ordered, that had premium Lincolnshire seasoning labels on them, when the bags clearly did not contain Lincolnshire seasoning but something else. And you very kindly replaced them!

Your Email of 3rd May does not mention having to order a kg of a seasoning in order to qualify for the Trader's Discount, I asked if the discounted rate of 8.59 applies across the board... Your response:-

"Hi Maria yes it’s a flat rate for all burgers and sausage the 5 min marinade is 7.49kg for any other item please contact us for prices . If the shipping is higher don’t worry we will refund the difference

After you told me that, I was able to manipulate my prices for my customers to a more favourable rate...and now I have to change my advertising and increase my prices, because your word, which you gave me above is, apparently not worth much!

Trade discounts are for traders are they not?

Your seasonings are outstanding and I think 8.59Kg is a fair rate. I would like to be buying all my sausage making ingredients from you, indeed I was, up until my order of yesterday which Paul, your Trade Supplies Manager cancelled, buying hog casings from you at 15.99 for 90m, but have found them cheaper at 24.00 for 182m and I believe you quoted me 35.00 for 20kg of pinhead rusk when I am paying 23.99 for 25Kg. That same company which supplies me those, (Butcher's Sundries) will sell me seasonings for 5.49 per kilo, I prefer to pay 8.59 for your superior product. I run a small Café in Spain with a turnover of less than 1,500 per week, and as such, do not have bags of money sitting around to pay for ingredients, which could sit on my shelf for a year! I feel I have spent well with you and would like to continue to do so on reasonable terms...So come on...How about it?

I received NO RESPONSE!!!! So I looked up Tongmaster Seasonings on the Companies House website and found the name of the Managing Director (Edward Sands, (probably related to Joe Sands I suspect)) and wrote to him at the company's registered office... Expressing my disgust at his company's disgracefully shoddy service. And AGAIN...You guessed it...NO RESPONSE!!! I really think your customers who are building a business (or TRYING TO) using your products and spending maybe 800 or 900 pounds per year, deserve more respect!! If you want quality, I recommend Tongmaster Seasonings...But go elsewhere if you don't want to be treated THIS BADLY!!!

I always buy my seasonings and mixes from here. Today however received my tandoori glaze . After prepping my chicken breast (1) and working out I would need appx 15g glaze for a 250g (appx) chicken breast. Mixed it as instructed , and nothing happened chicken was still chicken coloured not red and a vague smell of spice. In the end I had to use nearly 25g of glaze for one breast. I’ll reserve judgement until I cook it tomorrow but even now it still looks pale and insipid Potentially not your best tongemaster
