A really well organised, clean and well looked after caravan and motorhome site. We stayed for 1 night. Pitches are big enough for a van/caravan and awning to be placed on the gravel. No awnings, chairs or inflatables to be placed on the grass between pitches due to the site rules, but the hardstanding is big enough. The host was very welcoming, polite and came to greet us when we arrived. There are 2 showers and 3 toilets on site, a wash up area and a pitstop area for caravans and motorhomes (only for residents). The site is big enough not to feel over crowded. There's a lovely fenced secure area at the bottom of the site to let your dog off the lead which is great. Nice walks from the site. Showers and toilets immaculately clean, and even though the site was full, never needed to wait for either. Fresh water and grey water disposal individual to each pitch which is nice, pre paid and top up electricity available at each pitch also. Would definately reccomend and return. Thank you to the host. Liked: Lovely small organised campsite which was immaculately clean and tidy. Great small paddock for the dog to be let off the lead. Shower was lovely and warm and all facilities in good working order. Recycling bins very well set up and plentiful. Had a lovely walk down the track beside the site, through the woods to a stunning view on the circular route. So nice and quiet and self check in was easy and hassle free.

Lovely camping site, with very good services. Toilets with showers very clean and well maintained, drinking water easily accessible, and grey water disposal stations. Dogs are welcome and have a fenced area where they can roam around safely. 18+, so very quiet and ideal for a comfy rest before heading to Edinburgh.

Liked: Good size pitches & clean facilities. Secure dog field was a welcome addition.

Disliked: Electric point was difficult to connect to & a top-up was needed in the early hours of the morning. Would prefer to pay more for the pitch for unlimited electric.

Liked: Wonderful spot, thoughtfully designed small campsite with everything you'd need either for an overnight stay or a little longer. Everything is immaculate and Bob the dog enjoyed his runouts in the paddock.

Disliked: Nothing.

Liked: The communication, easy on arrival and the views are lovely. It was a great location for nearby attractions such as The Kelpies and Falkirk Wheel. Site is well kept.

Disliked: Didn’t like how someone could be in the toilet at the side whilst in the shower and that there was a gap at the bottom of shower / toilet.

Liked: Newly appointed site with level gravel pitches and clean and warm shower and toilet facilities. All facilities carefully thought out.

Disliked: Far too many ‘ Do Not’ notices. Very off putting for an adult only site.

Superb base to explore the Falkirk wheel, Kelpies and Stirling.
