This place should come with a national wealth warning.i visit this place at least once a week and altho I only ever intend to buy just one or two or at most three items, I end up spending way more. This isn't in itself a bad thing and you will never ever be pressured into spending money either. The problem is with the quality, it is exceptional and whether it's the new potatoes, the excellent veg, the sumptuous pies or the oversized farm eggs, it is there in abundance. Therein lies the problem. Enter at your own risk but be prepared to leave lighter in the pocket but full with satisfaction guaranteed.

I’ve been going to boghall butches for many years it’s the best! The lentil soup is home made and delicious!
I always go every fortnight and get all my supplies steak slices, lamb, sausages and fresh vedge! Not to mention their pies 🥧
The staff make this place they’re so friendly! Long may it continue! 🙏

Great staff, great selection of meats and pies. Yes the meat is a bit more expensive than supermarkets but the quality is amazing!
The fact that people are always in the shop is testament to its quality and service.

Gutted. Heard about this place and been slavouring all week looking at pictures of their kebab pies. Go up and spend £17 to come back and find they gave me 2 scotch and no kebab pies. Absolutely bumped rotten. The scotch were just average. Poor service. 1 job the wee woman had. 1 job

Pies, pies n more pies. Took a drive through to taste the pies everyone raves about and wasn't dissapointed. As old fashioned butchers as you could ask for. Everything we bought was spot on and will defo be returning. All staff were amazing, knowledgeable and friendly.
