Easy process from browsing the website, ordering to delivery was kept informed and it was delivered on time with the game still lovely and cold. The venison shanks are super for a winter casserole and were so meaty and tender and the pheasant breasts are so tasty. Everything I have tried tastes gorgeous and it is a more humane way of eating meat so ticks all the boxes for me.

Ordered some game ready meals to try from Woodmill Game. I was very happy with the selection on offer. My order arrived in good time and was chilled enough. One of the ready meals had spilt due to the unfortunate packaging choice (however I understand it’s been used as its bio degradable). Following this I emailed the company to let them know and give them my feedback however I never received response, hence why I’ve decided to leave a review. All the meals I have tried so far have been delicious however I feel packaging needs to be looked at, as they seem to fall apart in transit, when defrosting and when being heated up.

I have just tried the Woodmill Game Venison Bulgarian sausages and they were really nice and tasty, similar to a merguez sausage but bigger and juicier. I was though, slightly disappointed with the individual Mixed Game pie, as I found it too sweet for my taste. The quality of the pie was fine, and as ever with pies from Scotland, the pastry was superb.

Amazing service and products as usual. Meat of the highest quality delivered when booked and packaged wonderful condition. Have been buying for years and have never been disappointed. The venison pies where of particular note this year .

The food from here was tasty and very delicious and can’t recommend them enough. The website layout is very appealing and does show a luxurious feel to it and matches the taste of the various options. The Xmas service was good and very open about the collection day and time

Game meat is so hard to find here in the midlands but woodmill game, is a great supplier, the meats they produce and supply, is beautifully tender well seasoned and will adorn any table with good grace and taste.
