Me and my family were in dunblane for a short day trip, walked by david Bennett and son butchers and the window display drew us in .I bought a steak pie and two chicken and peppercorn (maybe different, my mistake ) individual pies, oh my they were the best pies me and my partner had tasted ,both pies were loaded with meat and full of flavour .
I think we will be making the 40 minute drive to stock up as there pies are also freezable .

Visited the shop whilst travelling back from Scotland. The pies looked so appealing in the window that I had to buy a couple. So glad I did, they are without doubt the best I’ve had. The steak and black pudding is the stuff of dreams, I will certainly be back!

A wonderful shop with friendly staff and produce that puts it away above the rest. Been buying here for a long time but just recently bought hamburgers. No fat. Not like wet sludge you get in the supermarket. Just proper firm chunky meat that was first class. Sausage rolls and other meats 5*

best pies we've had...ever... and we should know as weve shifted a few of them in our time let me tell you! Chicken, pepper and haggis as well as the steak and haggis were divine. Good choice of others as well.Shame we live 3.5 hrs away...

The absolute best steak pies! A highlight of coming to visit family in Dunblane (apart from seeing my wonderful relatives) is these amazing steak pies!

Right now I’m just about to start cooking a massive 3lb one, we do this every Boxing Day & some other occasions when there is a lot of us at our Mums.

On other visits we have the amazing single serve pies. I love the regular steak pies, the haggis & steak pies & most of all the absolute ultimate that is their peppered steak pies. We will be taking a couple of them home for the freezer! ⭐️⭐️⭐️⭐️⭐️
