Watching people gather £4 turkeys from the cheap shelf in Tesco on Christmas eve, there was a tiny sliver of me envying their bargain but a lot more feeling pleased and proud of the thought of the beautiful Gartmorn free range bronze turkey awaiting me at home.

I've never had anything less than a beautiful bird from Gartmorn whether it was for Christmas or just a chicken for roasting at home. They're always beautifully plucked (a pet peeve) and juicy and delicious. The birds seem to be as well treated as is possible and the customer service is good. 🙂

Wonderful chickens - but absolutely gutted that you are no longer supplying local butchers such as the one we’ve used for the last 40 years in Edinburgh. This is a mega let down! Please reconsider - otherwise we shall look to find other than Gartmorn despite their fabulous taste and that they are free range

As an American celebrating Thanksgiving in Scotland for the third year (my daughter lives here) we were astounded by the quality of this turkey. It exceeded any turkey we’ve had in the US in terms of basic quality of the meat and is naturally so juicy!
