We purchased tickets for our disabled son who is a massive Harry Potter fan.

He absolutely loved it! Especially being able to dress up in the cloak & use the wand.

We would have loved to see the staff dress in costume too rather than wearing jeans & t-shirt - it would have completed the experience. Staff were very helpful & accommodating.

We didn't love the drinks but the theatre & fun of making them made the session.

This was such a lovely experience during our little stopover in Edinburgh. The inside of the pub is incredibly cute; so many fun little details. Roe was amazing in helping us create our magical concoctions. She gave us just enough guidance to not blow anything up while also allowing us to take the lead. Loved everything about her persona. Her outfit was also on point. 100/10 highly recommended especially if you have a group!

✨️Had a lovely potion making experience here this afternoon (23rd April) with Robyn! Especially as I wasn't feeling very well i was able to make non alcoholic potions ! Lovely Harry Potter vibes and would recommend for any Harry Potter/fantasy lover 🧙‍♂️ the potion/drinks were fun to make and easy to follow, didn't feel rushed and the group we were in around the separate tables was nice and small so it wasn't noisy or overcrowded.

Thank you Robyn for a lovely experience ✨️

Really cute evening making our own potion cocktails. Austin was great and he made the experience fun and silly. I personally would have liked a bit more choice when it came to what cocktails we could make. We only had a choice of 4 and 2 of those contained whisky, which we dislike. Besides that, we are happy we did it 🙂

We had an amazing first visit to The Cauldron last weekend, participating in a Potion Making experience! Eve was an amazing Potions Master! She was so engaging and helped ensure we had a brilliant time, although she must have been tired with the amount of times my son waved his wand at her to come and help us!! Our potions were so tasty, and we loved having the opportunity to use dry ice, create boba type pearls and all the magical ingredients that were part of the recipes!! This is a really unique, fun and immersive and magical experience to enjoy with your family or friends, and we’ll definitely be back!!

Our potion class at The Cauldron was an absolute blast! The venue is incredibly atmospheric—magical, immersive, and full of enchanting details that made us feel like we stepped into another world. From donning robes to casting spells with our wands, the whole experience was pure fun.

Roe, our host, was fantastic—friendly, funny, and full of great energy. She kept the mood light with clever jokes and made sure everyone was having a great time throughout.

We each created two delicious cocktails, and the process was just as enjoyable as the drinks themselves. Mixing potions with a magical twist was such a unique and memorable activity.

We’d absolutely recommend visiting The Cauldron if you’re looking for a fun and interactive experience. It’s a magical night out you won’t forget!

We discovered this very cool and unique place during a rain storm on New Year's Eve, and we're we glad we did! The setting is designed to be reminiscent of a magical wooded home, and the drinks are some of the most unique and unusual concoctions we've ever had. Our waiter, Adrian, was fantastic and took a lot of time to explain the various drinks. The Nosferatu is hard to define, but it tastes kind of like liquid garlic bread masquerading as a Manhattan. It was amazing. The Blob's presentation was as fantastic as its taste, bubbling up and smoking. The Pop-Ular and Curiouser and Curiouser were also both great drinks. All the staff were very friendly and engaging, and this is a place I plan to return to.
