The cheesecake is not strictly basque. Despite the melty-looking centre, it's more like a cross between souffle and basque. Not too bad but not as satisfying as the aggressively creamy authentic basque cheesecakes

I recently discovered this cafe in Stockbridge, and it was such a delightful experience. The brunch was incredible, the coffee was great, and the pistachio croissant — one of their seasonal desserts — was absolutely amazing. It’s a cozy, dog-friendly spot with a warm and welcoming atmosphere. Definitely a place I’ll return to!

Absolutely delightful! This cake shop is a true hidden gem. From the moment you walk in, you're greeted by the heavenly aroma of freshly baked cakes and a beautiful display that makes it hard to choose just one.

The cakes are not only visually stunning but taste even better – moist, flavourful, and clearly made with high-quality ingredients. Whether you're after a classic Victoria sponge, a rich chocolate fudge, or something more unique, there's something for everyone.

The staff are incredibly welcoming and helpful, and you can tell they’re passionate about what they do. I ordered a custom cake for a special occasion, and it exceeded all expectations – both in design and taste.

Highly recommend for birthdays, celebrations, or even just a treat with your afternoon tea. I’ll definitely be back!

A cozy place with warm atmosphere in the neighbourhood. In addition to regular delicious coffee and cakes we enjoyed a wonderful birthday cake and a delicious catering for our daughter’s special party. Everything was just superb! We only popped by for a coffee while walking past, the chai latte was lovely and great coffee. The cakes looked incredible and their menu definitely grabbed our attention. We may have to keep in mind for a little brunch visit when back in the capital

My partner and I stopped in for a coffee and a slice of the carrot cake. I can honestly say it was the best carrot cake we have ever tasted. Service was excellent and the atmosphere was cosy and welcoming. We will definitely return on our next trip to Edinburgh.

I ordered a chocolate cake. It was tasty but dry. It might've been a bit old or something. The service was a little slow as well. Others in the group said their food was good, although we didn't have the choice of smoothie as they have run out.
