We had our wedding cake made by the fantastic team at Liggy's Cake Company and can't recommend them enough.

We eloped in Edinburgh from the East Midlands and we're worried the distance would cause a problem, but the team were so helpful via email and online calls, it made everything stress free.

We did a cake testing session in April last year and all the flavours were scrumptious. We were given drawings for the idea of the cake and on the day, it turned out more perfectly than we could have imagined.

Liggy's made the cake for our wedding in April and we could not be happier with the service we received. The cake looked absolutely stunning and tasted delicious. We had so many compliments from our guests and we were thrilled that we had some leftovers so we could enjoy it in the days after the wedding too! The tasting at the shop in Edinburgh was fab also - Megan was super helpful taking me through all the options for design and flavours. She even gave me a box of cake samples to take away as my fiance (now husband!) had been called away to work so couldn't attend. Would highly recommend if you are looking for your wedding cake!

We used Liggy's cakes for our wedding cake in May and they did a wonderful job. The cake looked really beautiful, it was very simple and elegant but with lovely delicate detail in the buttercream icing, but most importantly for me all the tiers tasted lovely! Everyone really enjoyed it, and it was really good having a tasting at the shop before choosing flavours.

Liggy’s made our gorgeous (and delicious) wedding cake a few weeks ago. The cake stand was bare at the end of the night and we even caught some of our guests pocketing a slice to have with tea the next day!

Communication was fab, from when we first walked in off the street to book a cake tasting through to the big day!

We ordered our wedding cake from Liggy's Cake and could not be happier! The staff were incredible and the process was seamless from start to finish. The cake was absolutely beautiful and the strawberry/prosecco flavour was delicious. All our guests were going back for seconds!

Ordered their retro black heart cake for my partner’s birthday and we were super happy with it! The buttercream was rich and the sponge was baked to perfection! The only thing that was a little embarrassing was that when we went to collect it, the order along with the price was cello-taped to the box. As this was a gift I didn’t really want him to know the cost, but other than that everything was great!

As a bride with food allergies who had guests with food allergies, I wanted my wedding cake to be one that everyone could enjoy, even if cake isn't something we "lucky" ones can typically eat! Liggy's was wonderful in providing a cake for everyone. While the bottom two tiers of our cake were "normal," Liggy's worked together with us to make sure that the top tier was dairy and gluten free and made sure we were completely informed with their allergy policies and baking processes along the way. I felt completely comfortable eating the cake and serving it to my guests (and there were no reported issues afterwards!). Not only did the cake taste amazing, but the taste, texture, and look between the two types of cake were indistinguishable and we had many compliments on both from those in attendance. I also wanted a more traditional-looking wedding cake and Liggy's was one of the very, very few shops I could find who offered more traditionally decorated cakes among their other modern designs. Closer to the wedding, I asked them to make cookie favours for us, which they happily took on and produced some beautiful and tasty favours for our guests to take home with them. The staff were friendly and easy to communicate with and their shop was clean, aesthetic, and pleasant to be in. All in all, I was incredibly happy with their service and our wedding cake, and we would 100% order from them again!
