Not impressed, just bought my first ever 4 different packs of Nairn's oatcakes of 3 different varieties. Just tried the fist pack picture provided. Not like any others ive had, these are more like, not actual but like theyve been over cooked which may have made them somewhat a more a crispier finish than i was expecting, which disappointed me a little. Not that they tasted anything bad in any other sense though.

Lately they are ruining my favorite line of buisquits: Chunky oats buisquit breaks.
The company must be on a harsh cost reduction phase and now you cannot see anymore the bits of chocolate on the biscuits. The advertising picture shows how the buisquits used to be, not how they are now.
Another big problem is that lately they are very VERY ofter overbaked.
What is going on in this company?
It is really disappointing.
Those buisquits used to be a work of art.

Update 24/4/24
I have to upgrade my previous low score as the buisquits' quality is now back on track. Nairns even replied to my complaints which was unexpected. They said that "nothing had happened and that it would be impossible to please everybody" - this was a bit of a non-sense repl, but at least they made the effort.

Product is great but the packaging sticks two fingers up to the environment. Why?....because each box of 18 biscuits contains 6 tough little plastic bags. ( one per 3 biscuits). Won't be buying any more of these. Who could possibly think this was a good idea?

When they made the Marmite & Cheese oatcakes, they took a fantastic product and made it beyond expectations, well done Nairn’s . Great products, great taste, great value and always consistent. Keep up the good work!

I used to think Nairns Oatcakes are from Nairn.

The cheese oatcakes are even great on their own, got the right balance (not like strong cheese which I've found in other bakery products) Also I just discovered your salted caramel oatcakes: Its a combination which I didn't think would work, however gave it a try and it's a lovely twist. The goodness of crunchy oats infused with caramel. Again just the right balance of flavour. The standard of packaging is very high, certainly helps make it more appealing and less chance of broken up oatcakes.

Always been a fan of your oatcakes- no better biscuit to have with cheese. But recently we discovered the Super Seeded variety and wow! These are the best yet. So crunchy and a wonderful flavour. Now it’s a dilemma whether to have the thin ones or the new super seeded. Guess which won!

Oh no ! I have 4 fine milled oatcakes for breakfast, half a pouch yesterday but there was only 3 left for this morning ! Had a mouse been to visit ? No, when I checked an older packet ( poor stock rotation ) the packet weight has decreased from 250g to 218g...maybe my weight will decrease by this amount too ?!? A bit shoddy Nairns !

Really disappointed in the size reduction of the oat biscuits. 4 less biscuits per box & a 50% price increase 🙁
