Oh Abi. She was an amazing gin experience guide! As a chemistry enthusiast, I learned so so much about the gin distillery experience at the local 56 North Bar and restaurant. 10/10 for a good time and learning everything one would want to know about the history, distillery process and of course, tasting of the different types of South Loch gins. Amazing time. Thank you Abi! Love from your group from Toronto!

My wife and I did the gin tasting experience with James, the owner of the bar and distillery - while I'm not someone who regularly drinks Gin, James made the experience very accessible, and his passion and depth of knowledge meant that it was a very engaging session, and I came away feeling very enlightened (particularly as I was very ignorant about both gin and the distillation process for its production!).
Both my wife and I really enjoyed the whole experience, and James' hospitality, and can highly recommend the gin tasting experience for either those who are gin lovers, or more novices like myself!

We had a great time learning about the process of gin making, and had samples of several different kinds. Gin lovers and those on the fence will enjoy the education and flavor accessable samplings. Many thanks to James for hosting our visit. Gin for the win!

The Gin was outstanding! The tasting could be a bit longer, but the necessary information is given. Aby was such a nice and kind tour guide. Apart from that, really nice to support a such a family business.

Had a great tour with Abby. Very informative and the gin was lovely.

The bar staff have a lot to be desired - not very attentive, knowledgeable or helpful. Service could be much better.

Not much more to ask for, other than some Gin! The Tasting was excellent, the Host giving the Gin introduction was passionate and charismatic, an all round good time with some fantastic Gin samples. “Sexy”. 🤘

We've had a great time during the gin tour and tasting. Shocking facts, various flavours! It will change your outlook on gin. Very friendly and funny staff and tasty gins.
