Chicken casserole and dumplings ,very nice ,good-sized portion,I did add potatoes from Parsley Box, dumplings was lite ,only criticism for me was carrots could have been firmer ,but that is personal choice

I am putting 3 stars as I ordered several mixed meals for my elderly mom and dad, they enjoyed the first couple they tried but then we saw one of them was mouldy (photos attached) I emailed the company but still no reply. There was then another 2 in same condition (different types) They were stored in a cupboard under stairs but not sure if that was a factor or not. As no one has replied I cant get an answer. Its a shame as my parents actually liked the meals they tried and I would order more if I could have a conversation with someone about the issues experienced.

I placed my first order and received it today. In opening the box the meals were really chilled. I contacted customer services to expess my concern as to how this would affect long term storage in a cupboard. The agent told me they would be ok to store and the survived a range of temperatures. She said the couriers van may have been cold and sure they would gave been frozen. She wouldn't confirm where and how the meals were stored prior to despatch. I am not sure how something so cold is going to keep. I am sure this will affect quality. I advised if there was an issue in future I would get back to them. Don't think the agent was best pleased and certainly didn't reassure me.

Update: tried my first meal shepherds pie and it was disgusting, potatoes were brown and the smell was awful. I have binned the rest if the meals. I am recovering from a spinal fracture and had hoped these would help as I only have a small icebox.

Convenient, yes. Cheap No. Tasty No. Value for money No.
Blind taste tested my 84 year old mother, she had no idea what she was supposed to be eating, box art is nothing like what you actually get.
Tasted some myself - absolutely disgusting.
Surely you can do better than this Parsley Box..

As a self employed person that works long hours, I thought as a single person the company would be great for my evening meals… Honest opinions, poor! The quality of the food is poor and full of water and lacking meat in the products. Also, the food is lacking seasoning and quantity. We would be best placed getting a microwave meal from one of many supermarkets and not overpay for the overkill on advertising and poor quality!

I wish I knew them a long time ago because of the no freezer thing. Long time ago I was extremely ill and couldn’t do any shopping or cooking and lived in a flat of a size of a broom closet but smaller he he , there weren’t many options so I had to buy a mini freezer with little money I had and lack of space at the time to use another company that was frozen only meals .Don’t get me wrong the other company was lovely as well and the freezer end up convenient still have in bigger flat I reside now but unfortunately was lot of work as their delivery slot of that other frozen ready meals company was according to the delivery person and that wasn’t very practical as not great hours. Parsley box delivery company listened to my contactless instructions and left exactly where I requested. I ordered and it arrived the next day. Tried the first dish stroganoff and really enjoyed, amazing creamy chocolate box . Will order again as the size is small but perfect for my needs as I cannot have very big dishes due to health issues(stomach surgical problems). The dessert was surprisingly very good, was actually expecting not to be perfect and really surprised me .Cannot really understand the bad reviews as for my particular needs though was very good . Wish I knew about them way earlier could have helped me during hard times.

Purchased £24 of meals for my mother as heard good reports. Unfortunately after eating half of the meals there is NO chance of her buying any more. Portion sizes are tiny, according to my mother they are only fit for a small child. Flavours are adequate at best, but the main problem was the quality. I saw the beef dinner and couldn't believe the amount of beef - it was literally only 1 inch square and disintegrated as soon as the fork touched it. Plus the potatoes and vegetables were like slush. The Cumberland pie again was so small that Mum had to have another dinner after it (a M&S £3 dinner - which was so much better), there was hardly any beef and 2 x 2mm pieces of carrot! Its a joke! If this is the standard of all the meals and other reviewers enjoy them then I am astounded. I am getting her meals from M&S in future which are better quality, amounts are filling and are 3 for £7.

I enjoy Parsley Box meals but I have one complaint, ihad a box delivered today, there was a knock on the door,when I got there the parcel was on the door step it was not handed to me and the van and driver had gone, im 84 and live in sheltered housing on my own, im Infirm and have difficulty walking, yes I did get the package but they could have waited
