Bought 2 tins of Grants minced beef and peas recently as i used to really enjoy this with potatoes. What i got when heated was a plate of what i can only describe as slop. I had a plate of gravy with a few grains of mince and some peas. I would have contacted customer services but they don't seem to have one. Also have pictures but appears can't add

I bought a tin of Grant's minced beef and carrots and it was Disgusting. The tin was mostly fat and grissle, some of the fat still had hair on it ! It was making me want to Vomit. I would not feed this to a Dog ! I should have known better and never bought any of grants products,as I used to be a European truck driver and collected slabs of frozen meat from a cold store in Leipzig and deliver to Grant's in galston. The smell from there factory was stinking and making me feel sick. I was glad to get unloaded and get away from the place and get some fresh air ! I would not recommend buying anything from them.

I never leave bad reviews but on this occasion I feel I need to. I purchased a tin of stewed steak and the contents were disgusting, it was full of fat and blubber. I took a photo to send to company in an email but I was unable to find any address to send the picture to. This was not just a little bit of fat which could be expected but most of the tin. I was actually left with 2 pieces of steak and gravy. Appalling.

My son arranged for some tins to be sent to me from a local store when I was ill and Grant Brothers Irish Stew at £1: 89 was among them. The picture on the tin looked inviting with large chunks of meat and colourful carrots. On opening the tin into a pan I was really astounded to see about 3 tiny scraps of some sort of meat/gristle? and then mostly carrots with a few swede in a revolting looking fatty sauce. I will photograph this and send it to Trading Standards as it bears no resemblance both visually and descriptively to the contents described on the tin. I can't believe this stuff is allowed to be marketed!! DO NOT BUY IT!! DOG FOOD HAS HIGHER STANDARDS. Unfortunately I have to give it one star to enable me to post this review.

I tried Grants Food tinned stewed steak which was purchased at Lidl and it was disgusting. I ended up throwing most of it away because I was not sure what some of the contents actually were.
Being partial to tinned steak and thinking the first tin was a one off poor quality, I purchased another and that went in the bin also. NOT NICE AND NOT FOR ME THANK YOU.

Bought 2 cans of Newgate stewed steak from Lidl which grants make opened the cans to fond all fat and grissle was disgusting ruined a good dinner never again
