Walkies!!! If you've ever wanted to take an alpaca for a walk ... and let's have it, who hasn't? ... then this is the place for you. Get an introduction from the lovely Jacqui, walk through the stunning countryside with your alpaca, and head back to feed your steed before grabbing a cuppa for yourselves. You may even get a chance to meet her adorable hounds and even feed the pygmy goats as well. Fantastic fun for all the family. And if you have a preference for which alpaca you'd like to walk, just let her know on the booking and she'll accommodate wherever she can.

Our group of 8 went for a Alpaca walk during our Yorkshire visit. Our host at Beacon Alpacas, John & Jackie were an excellent host, they welcomed us with hot & cold drinks. They offered ice lolly to kids. There alpacas are super cute & so well behaved. During our walk Jackie told our group lots of information about Alpacas. Lots of parking space & toilets were available in the farm. Cherry on the cake were baby goats in the farm, we all loved them. It was nice of John to let us feed the baby goats & Alpacas. A must visit if you are in the area.

It was great.
We had a lovely afternoon with my wife's cousins, who came from all across the country, for a walk with the alpacas at Beacon Edge in Husthwaite. They told us all we needed to know about the alpacas, each of them have their own names and have various querks, some are headstrong others are happy to wanderer along at the back, some like their head stroked and others do not. Afterwards we stayed for a free tea & coffee and chatted to the ladies some more. There was no rush to go around or to leave. They have a nice little shop selling alpaca wool, postcards and gifts.
Only downside is there is only one loo!
We definitely got lucky with the weather, and they strongly advise you to wear stout footwear as the paths can get a little muddy.
We all popped down to the Fauconberg Inn in Coxwold for a well earned drink afterwards.

An amazing day out. Really friendly staff and sensational value for money. I would highly recommend this to anyone in the area. The walk was so picturesque too and feeding the alpacas at the end was an experience.

We had the most amazing time walking with the alpacas. The staff there are so lovely and attentive with their farm and animals. We walked with Red, they all have their own personalities and are adorable. Would 1000% recommend. Even got a cup of coffee after 🙂

Excellent experience one of the best things we've done as a family! Jaki and her sister are wonderful really welcoming and pleasant!
Alpacas are gorgeous animals and the morning weather was fabulous! Highly recommended exceeded our expectations money well spent! Xx

Lovely animals, very gentle. Everyone had there own alpaca to walk around the fields and feed. Attendants were knowledgable and helpful. Very nice experience alround.

Walk like an alpaca! Lovely relaxing experience with the gentle alpacas in Jaki's safe hands. The afternoon wall lasts about 2 hours including feeding (the alpacas) and a drink (you).
