Wonderful little Turkish restaurant in Theydon Bois. I can highly recommend the Mediterranean Breakfast (pictured) and the lemongrass and ginger tea. Service was attentive and cheerful from all staff. Will definitely be stopping back here next time! ✅️

Fantastic Spot for a Post-Walk Feast!

After a 10 km walk through Epping Forest, we stopped by Filika Restaurant for lunch, and it was the perfect choice! The food was incredibly delicious, with every dish freshly made and bursting with flavor. The seating was comfortable, giving us a great chance to unwind and enjoy the beautiful, relaxed atmosphere. The Sunday lunch menu was spot-on, and the staff made us feel welcome. We’ll definitely be back soon! Highly recommended for anyone in the area.

The chicken is melt in your mouth gorgeous! I had chicken and avacado salad. It was a generous amount of sliced succulent chicken breast with fresh tasty salad. The staff are so friendly and welcoming. They were attentive but gave us space and time when appropriate. Our starter of tempura prawns, breaded calamari and warmed falafel were so enjoyable! That's why I went for the salad as mains! However it was so delicious I treated myself to a tiramisu dessert! I wasn't disappointed 😋 ps: the seats are really comfortable too!

Really great time in here yesterday! The food was very tasty, and had so much flavour. The lamb kofte was brilliant, as well as the moussaka which was cooked to perfection. The humus, ratatouille and tabouleh for starter was excellent too. The service was pleasant and fast, and the coke was cold. Thanks very much, I highly recommend 👍

First time at this restaurant but will go back n recommend to others. Food was delicious. Service was good. Four of us booked lunch for 2pm on a Saturday. Would imagine it gets busy of an evening. Most comfortable dining chairs I've sat in at a restaurant for a long time

I came with my friend on the opening night. It was a delight to have lovely fish! We had octopus and scallop as a starter. The main course was calf liver. It's excellent as always and good choice to have as a family meal. It's first class fine dining, that's suitable for all the family! Everything is so fresh and tasty. You will not want to miss out! 🙂

Booked ahead for a friend's birthday dinner, and would absolutely recommend.

Lovely, comfortable decor, the atmosphere was nice and chilled, the staff were really friendly and didn't rush us despite it being busy.

The food, wow, absolutely delicious! 😋 We shared a mixed mezze platter with a few extras and I had the herb crusted cod which was melt in the mouth heavenly!

Generous portions, beautifully cooked with a varied Mediterranean menu. Lots of choice for vegetarians and also a kids menu.

Pricing was fair, even for drinks and literally a 5 minute walk from Theydon Bois underground station.

We'll definitely be visiting again!

I’ve been here a few times now. This time I came for lunch and I wasn’t disappointed. The bread is delicious although I had to refrain from pigging on it too much. The falafel starter was amazing. Tasty, so many flavours and unlike any falafel I’ve had before. The main was simple, tasty and not too big which was perfect for lunch. Great service. The seating is really comfortable and it isn’t too cramped. I would highly recommend Filika in Theydon Bois.
