I love our new staircase. Sam has been very professional and flexible throughout the whole process. We’ve asked a different type of staircase and balustrade, so we were a bit worried about the end result. We just love it and we can totally recommend Sam for his quality skills , well done!

Sam did a great job installing fitted floating shelves in alcoves as well as a mantel piece. He was flexible on timings and was happy to discuss what we wanted until we were happy.
Only a 4 because of a miscommunication which meant the shelves ended up in a slightly different place to expected and the finish/varnish needed neatening after he'd finished.
The actual woodwork was brilliant, and the whole project was a good price.

We had wanted our rather dull staircase, bannisters and under stairs cupboard changed for years, but we'd always been put off by the high prices of the 'stair renovations specialists'. I found details of SJT Carpentry and Joinery on-line and I was very impressed by their feedback and photos. Got a quote and some ideas from Sam and was pleasantly surprised by both the price and his suggestions. Now having had the work done I am really pleased with the end result, wish we'd found Sam earlier. Sam arrived on time, kept me informed of what was happening and made very sensible suggestions. Really impressed with his workmanship. Hope to use him again on another project in the near future.

I initially thought this would be a really complicated project to replace a stair case, but Sam handled the whole project efficiently and professionally. I would highly recommend him and couldn't have asked for the result to be any better!

Sam fitted out a large workshop unit for me with wall panels, and he built a new office with stud walls, windows and a new door. His work is excellent and he obviously enjoys detailed carpentry and joinery. Sam is very skilled and knows how to best approach a job to get it done right and within budget. Sam was on time every day and was always prepared with the right materials and tools for the job. He is a quick worker and always willing to provide guidance and advice. I would highly recommend Sam to anyone looking for a skilled carpenter / joiner.

Absolutely in love with our bespoke shelving and drawers that Sam and his apprentice Harrison made for our living room! It was finished to the highest detail and has give us so much storage space. Sam is obviously a very skilled carpenter! He is also very kind and helped us fix a broken kitchen cabinet door and loose window blinds out of goodwill whilst installing the shelving. We will definitely use him again and cannot recommend him and his team highly enough.

Sam carried out repairs for us on one of our dormer windows. It was a complicate piece of work. He replaced an entire side panel and it looks incredible. I have no hesitation in recommending him and he will be my first call for any carpentry work we have in the future.
