We had a wedding cake and cupcakes from Caroline and Gayle and they were amazing!! Not only were they delicious (every guest said so!!) but they were also beautiful, including a custom kingfisher design on the cake that was stunning, and we chose both vegan lemon and chocolate flavours and they were all amazing. Excellent value as well and they were so kind and professional. Thank you so much! If we ever needed a custom cake for an event we'd definitely use them again, especially given the amazing choice and quality of vegan cake!

100% Recommend Mortimer Cake Company.
I ordered a Vegan Celebration cake and at the last minute some Vegan Gluten Free cupcakes and all were just perfect. The cakes tasted amazing and got so many compliments.
Gayle & Catherine are both super helpful and responsive, with nothing being too much trouble.

Caroline and Gayle made my wedding cake and it was beautiful to look at but the quality of the cake itself was poor. It was covered in about 2 inches of some sort of white chocolate ganache that was too sweet to eat in that quantity. The cake was just crumbling and falling apart when cut. The professional chef at my wedding venue advised us not to serve to our guests and said he had never seen such a poor quality cake.

I would recommend Caroline and Gayle to make your cakes without hesitations. I chose them to make my Wedding cake this year and they did not disappoint. I felt 100% confident in them from start to finish. They gave us many options on the flavours we would like and a told us how much cake was needed to feed our guests. The cake was lovely decorated (Indian henna design), had so many compliments, it was moist and very yummy., Thank you 🙂

Delicious cake that isn’t too sweet and sponge that is light in texture. Fondant icing is smooth, top quality and just gorgeous on top of the sponge.
I love cake and the wedding cake from the Mortimer Cake Company is a favourite. I highly recommend them.

We bought 2 boxes of 4 mixed cup cakes, at the Newbury dog show. They looked beautiful-works of art- prettiest cupcakes we've ever seen. Was prepared to be disappointed upon eating them, but they were amazing! Light sponge, 4 flavours, with soft icing. So yummy. Will be buying more of these, and will try out their special occasion cakes. Many thanks

I just wanted to thank you so much for the wonderful cake you baked for my wife’s 49th birthday.
The detail you captured from the photos I provided was nothing short of incredible, the hand-painted foxes on the fabric, outstanding.
And.. it was delicious. We didn’t eat it all over the weekend, so made the remaining into a bread & butter pudding desert (also delish)
I was in her good books for a number of weeks 😊
