This is a really nice store overall - staff are consistently friendly and welcoming, which makes a big difference. It's a great local place to pop into if you need something quickly, even though the prices are definitely a little on the higher side.

However, a major downside recently has been the reliability of their payment systems. The card machines and self-checkout kiosks seem to be down half the time. It's frustrating when you just want to get in and out quickly and end up wasting time instead.

Very good selection of fresh and packaged food and groceries. Prices often not displayed or are charged at different price to the one that is displayed, so best to always check your receipt.

Great Little Co-Op. It has all the stuff you might need in the day on a quick trip to the shops. Also remember that if you have a student card (NUS TOTEM), you get 10% off, but you will need to see the cashiers to get that to work, don't think it is currently programmed into the self service. Good layout, nice staff, good selection (especially if it's lunch that you are looking for).

Located just on the corner of Station Road on High Street.

As you walk into the entrance, there is a fresh bakery section with a selcetion of fresh bread, pastries, and sweets. In the front left is a Costa coffee vending machine. On the right are the tills, 4 self-serving and 2 managed by operators.

The shop has several aisles which are always fully stocked, from fresh fruit, refrigerated goods to cleaning items and pet food. A great place for a quick shop for your day-to-day necessities.

I love the fact their carrier bags are compostable.

The shop is always bright and tidy with friendly staff.
