This little gem is right on my doorstep. I’ve known about the great coffee for a while, but didn’t realise they did a full evening menu too, open later on Friday and Saturday.

The moment you walk through the door, you’re greeted with big smiles by attentive staff. I didn’t catch the name of the waitress who was looking after us, but she was lovely and extremely good at her job. Answered questions confidently about the food, laughed and joked with us and definitely enhanced an already fantastic experience.

I had the Pork Belly Bites and the Rib Eye Steak. My friends had the same, and also had the Soup of the Day and the Surf and Turf. They were all sensational. The Pork Belly Bites were one of the best things I’ve ever eaten. Gary (the chef) was lovely. He came over and we had a little chat as well which was a nice touch and was nice to share our thoughts with him.

Overall it was a fabulous evening, and we will 100% be back there. I remarked to the waitress that I’d be hard pushed to remember the last time I had food as good, and I’ve had some pretty damn good food recently. 5 Stars!

I went for breakfast, had the vegetarian full English “the veggie works” and an iced latte with oak milk and vanilla syrup. The food was delicious, cooked perfectly, and the drink was lovely too. Staff were all very nice and friendly. Nice, chill atmosphere, I’d like to go back and try some of their lunch options.

Only visited this local cafe 2 weeks ago for the first time and we returned last weekend and already planned to go again this weekend. So far we have tried the breakfast and lunch menu and will definitely be returning to try the dinner menu. We love the fact the lunch menu is hot and cold sandwiches, soups, salads. That’s hard to find right here anymore!
Our new favourite local spot by a mile with a great variety and even kinder staff who go the extra mile. The cafe is small but has a lovely atmosphere and both times we have got chatting to other customers enjoying their meal. Another bonus for us is the cafe is dog friendly! Could not recommend this place enough, we are so glad we have found it.

Visited Saturday evening 15th February. Superb food, in fact some of the best food you will get anywhere it really is that good. Couple that with very reasonable prices and friendly knowledgeable staff make this an absolute hidden gem right on our doorstep. Make a visit to their evening bistro you will not be disappointed.

Amazing outside catering! Selection of sliders, canapés, quiche, sausage rolls, crudite cups and vol-u-vounts, all friendly communication, prompt delivery and they were very accommodating with my bespoke packaging! Can’t thank Gary and the team enough for lightening the food burden for my 50th birthday plans!

Another great visit here for food. Six of us for Birthday breakfast and all meals were excellent and served together. Looking forward to coming back to try their afternoon, early evening menu.

We booked with my cousin and his partner for the Valentine’s special meal here. We were greeted immediately with a nice glass of Prosecco and a friendly, helpful server.

My wife and I had the prawn starter, which was fresh and tasty and came with bread to mop up the tasty garlic & chilli sauce! Just the right size to start.

We couldn’t resist the 28oz Tomahawk, which was seasoned amazingly and blows other ‘big’ names out the water! Was served with honey glazed carrots; fresh, crunchy broccoli and nice crispy, fluffy hand cut chips! The peppercorn sauce was also probably the nicest I’ve ever had!

Rounded the meal off with a nice sticky toffee pudding, and Mrs had a chocolate brownie absolutely loaded with chocolate sauce.

I wish I had the sense to take some photos, but everything looked so good I couldn’t wait! I also didn’t get any names, but all of the staff were welcoming and helpful, and the ladies got a lovely rose from the Chef!

We will 100% be coming back to sample the rest of the menu, as this place is a true hidden gem!
