We rehomed two happy hens from Hens Haven this weekend. Joanna is lovely and I enjoyed chatting to her about our existing flock. She is mad about hens like us and gave us some great tips for our girls. Our new babies Speckles and Bluebell are slowly settling in with our older girls. Lovely place Joanne was so helpful and knowledgeable. Helping us choose the right chickens and spending the time to answer any questions. Such a lovely lady and a fantastic little farm. Yet again we left our chickens in the safe hands of Hens Haven, they always come back happy and unstressed, Joanna is a loverly person, passionate about everything to do with chickens, goats and highland cattle, always able to accommodate our girls even when I forget to pre-book doh!, already booked in for September and October and we know they will.be well looked after.
If you want to trust your chickens while you go away look no further than here, they now even have a small shop too

Joanna looked after our two girls for 2 weeks. The girls were in great condition when we picked them up and settled back in straightaway. To have a good quality hennels nearby is wonderful. Can go away with no worries. Reasonable prices too. Mandy

We went to pick up 4 hens for our new coop a week ago. Unfortunately, we never got to meet Joanna as she was busy shearing sheep on the farm, but her lovely Mum Pauline stepped in to help us out. She was so kind and patient whilst we took our time to choose our hens, we were not rushed whatsoever. She gave us lots of information, even advising us how to clip their wings when ready, she made us feel so welcome. She even recommended where to go for the food and bedding. There was a great selection of hens to choose from & we even had fun trying to catch a few escapees. The set-up of the farm was lovely and we were even shown the rest of the animals which all looked so happy and content. We would definitely recommend Hens Haven to anybody else, as nothing is too much trouble for them at all!
We are now looking forward to getting our fresh eggs. Thanks Hens Haven.

Our girls Patsy and Doris have just spent 11 nights at Hen’s Haven with Joanna. This is the second time we’ve boarded our hens here - and we wouldn’t hesitate to do so again. This is such a lovely friendly place and we feel totally confident with the love and care given to our girls when staying. The whole process from booking, answering our questions, dropping off and picking up was seamless and easy. It is obvious that Joanna loves her job, and this is evident in the environment provided for the chickens and animals in her care. We were also impressed by the bio security in place for avian flu. Thanks again Joanna - and lovely to meet your mum this time too! We’ll be back xxx

Highly recommend, we got 4 beautiful hens off this lovely lady, hens are healthy and happy and all laying, we had never had hens before and Joanna has been there to answer any questions and advise us all the way which when your a newbie hen keeper is worth it's weight in gold! So, if you are looking for happy, healthy hens, then this is definitely the place to go,
