Well worth a visit, especially with the Gardener's World 2 for 1 card making entry £5 each. Managed to get around everywhere with a pram - all of the paths are carefully maintained, with woodchip on the woodland paths to keep them dry. Very pretty gardens; loved the area with the ruins. Beautiful spots to sit and relax. The cream teas were tasty. We'll be back!

Love it here! Beautifully maintained gardens boasting plenty of salvias and a lovely cafe serving tea, cakes and sandwiches. We purchased some salvias on our way out which were reasonably priced and are growing really well! Highly recommend a visit.

What a little gem! Beautifully laid out garden, full of surprises at every turn on the meandering pathways. It far exceeded my expectations. I loved all the private corners which encouraged you to sit a while and enjoy the peace and quiet, whilst taking in the views. I found it fascinating how old brick and slate had been used to create ruins which had become engulfed by flora and fauna and made into features in the garden. It certainly was a place to lose yourself in, like a secret garden. The tea room menu was delicious and very reasonably priced. I will definitely be visiting again.

What a lovely hidden gem to visit on a hot sunny day.

Beautifully maintained garden with lots of different plants and trees.

The garden is not very big. Allow yourself around 45 minutes to an hour to walk slowly through all their trails.

Lots of benches scattered around to relax and enjoy this paradise on earth.

No picnics are allowed I am afraid, but you can enjoy tasty snacks, homemade cakes, light lunches and hot and cold drinks at their cafe.
No cash also. Card payments only

Entry to the garden is reasonably priced.

The car park is free of charge.

New favourite garden. It is not that well-known, which I don't really understand how or why, as it would totally deserves. It feels like it is the smaller (and calmer) version of Himalayan Gardens & Hever. Appriaciated that it was not crowded at all, you pop into to the same lovely people...and you can uninterruptedly enjoy the amazing view and the song of the birds. Lovely tearoom as well, really well maintained, considering a yearly pass!

It’s my third visit to this lovely garden. It’s surprisingly capacious with a range of different environments including old fashioned island beds with conifers. More intimate areas feature ruins edged with grasses and penstemons to soften edges. The woodland garden would look lovely in spring but for any garden to look this colourful and lush at this time of year is a real achievement.

Wow! I was so impressed with this gardens, there is such a lovely mixture of different planting schemes along with a terrific variety of Magnolias and lot's of other structural plants. For a relatively small garden there is so much to see. Overall the garden was really well maintained and has a lovely tea room with some delicious homemade cakes! There's also a large free carpark. Spring time is a great time to visit.
