Liked: We were on campsite one, loads of space around us, lots of space for children to play. We were in pitch 15, which was enclosed by a hedge, the site was quiet after 10pm. Compost toilets were clean and well looked after. This is a real friendly family campsite. We liked the donkeys, pigs and goats. The shop selling fresh goat milk and cheese. We could have a small fire in the evening, which added to the magic for our four year old granddaughter. The evening bar was great, both the cider and the ale were much appreciated after a long day at Wookey Hole!

Disliked: Nothing.

A little piece of magic! We absolutely loved staying here.

Our pitch was wonderful, the rows of bushes and trees in between each pitch gives you a great sense of privacy and makes you feel truly in nature which we appreciated, we had an electric hook up pitch which was simple to setup. The farm itself is such a fantastic addition, we loved visiting the farm animals and exploring, the campsite was so quiet and really is idyllic. The compost toilets were well maintained and the structure is beautiful built. We loved the non contact approach of checking in and setting up our electric but also found the staff were friendly and contactable when needed.

There is clearly a lot of love thatโ€™s been put into this place and we really appreciate it, looking forward to seeing what you do in the future! Highly recommend.

Lovely place to camp you can go and feed the donkeys be prepared they do like to wake you in the morning with a donkey call which I thought was hilarious ๐Ÿคฃ they have a little farm shop the goats are sooo cute and the pigs come to say hello in the morning ๐Ÿ˜Šthereโ€™s a lovely pub down the road and the smaller camping spaces are hidden in the bushes we love the communal area for fires and mallows ๐Ÿ˜‹ and was handy when we had a private fire pit on our pitch but the smoke went into someone elseโ€™s area they asked us to put it out so we went and cooked our jackets at the communal area out the way ๐Ÿ‘Œ๐Ÿฝ itโ€™s such a lovely quite space to get away to for a weekend and the cost of the pitch is very reasonable. I was worried about the compost toilets but they are lovely and clean and not overly smelly but do remember it is a toilet with no flush it goes into the ground the smell will be present as it doesnโ€™t flush away like the loos at home ๐Ÿ˜Š but they have a toilet seats . No showers on site but for a night away itโ€™s just a lovely place to recharge

Liked: Loved the stream running around the campsite and the onsite shop selling a great selection of food and drinks. It also had very good recycling facilities which is unusual for a campsite. The compostable toilets were also well done. You can also walk to a few local pubs which was a bonus.

Disliked: No shower, which we knew in advance, so not a surprise. It wasn't a problem for us as we were only staying for a weekend, but it would have been a bit tricky if we had wanted to stay longer.

Liked: Campsite 1 - spacious hedged pitches, own bins inc recycling & food waste. Fire pit, stump seat & picnic bench. The animals, info and own produce. General wildlife. Ring O Bells, Burcott Mill for fresh bread, Burcott inn & Wookey Hub. Very friendly mini bus driver in village although frequency is limited.

Disliked: Other campers letting their dogs off - when asked not to! Not the site owners fault! Single track road in dark is off putting when on foot.

Liked: Lots of space, green and quirky.
Not far to the pub, serves good food, or bus stop. Thoroughly enjoyed our stay.

Disliked: Lack of showers likely to put some off though not us.

We had a great stay here.
Big pitches with a quiet setting once the kids had gone to bed!๐Ÿคฃ
Love the camp fire area.
Children loved the animals and open field area between the pitches.
Great pub down the road for lunch.
Only downside is the lack of showers but that didnโ€™t bother us too much it rained and we used that instead! ๐Ÿ‘๐Ÿป
Weโ€™ll be back in future thanks.
