This review is about Dave (according to the name plate in his windscreen!) A so called professional driver employed by Hazell & Jefferies. Whilst driving at the speed limit then he'll try to use the size of his vehicle to intimidate you. He will drive very close to the vehicle in front where he has to keep braking because he's that close. Once he can overtake you, he will then cut back in causing you to brake. He will wave his arm out the window with a rude hand gesture, caught on dashcam. He will also use his mobile phone, whilst driving and gesture taking a photo.
This drivers actions were reported to his employer and also to the police.
Unfortunately, after reporting to the company, forwarding both photos and dashcam footage an apology never appeared.

Ordered a skip online, chose my day for delivery, received email confirmation. On the day it arrived nice and early, driver friendly and helpful. Once filled contacted them and was told it would be collected within 5 days and I'd get notified which I was. Collected at 8am by another cheerful driver. Excellent communication, great price compared to others locally. I'd use them again and have already passed on details to a friend.

My roofer used this company for a skip. It arrived ok but when they recovered it they damaged my driveway. They refuse to accept they are to blame despite my CCTV evidence. Funny their camera on the truck they used to recover the skip didn’t capture the incident. If you want to use a company that damages your property and refused to rectify then these are your people otherwise personally I would avoid at all costs

Easy to deal with. Came out and gave me a free quote. Great on price, even came in under our initial budget!!
They came out on time and the workers were polite and courteous. When finished they left my drive clean and tidy and looking great!! I would highly recommend them to others. We will definitely use them for other projects and we've just found out they do skip hire too!!!

Excellent price, by far the cheapest around. I called to book the skip, it arrived the following day. I e-mailed to confirm we had finished and the skip was collected within 12 hours - highly recommended!

At 7.40am a member of their team stopped me at a junction then held me there while their lorries moved around and let other traffic go, then a lorry started up right next to me and sprayed my car with tar whilst I was still stationary with nowhere to go. When I contacted them asking how to get tar off my car I was told that if I had told a member of staff at the time it happened they would have cleaned it off for me, how was I supposed to do that when I was on my way to work and also it was complete chaos with no traffic lights just men putting their hands up stopping traffic from all directions and lorries blocking roads everywhere, but as it has now dried on I was told to go to Halfords, purchase some products and use plenty of elbow grease to get it off ABSOLUTELY UNBELIEVABLE that anyone thinks this is acceptable

RIP OFF - I cant believe how devious this firm is. Hired a skip for domestic use, initially cost 215 I think. Was told hire was for 2 weeks, I remember saying that's ok we are clearing the garden this weekend. Anyhow skip was filled the very next day. I just assumed they would pick up like other firms have in the past. Anyway, busy life got on with things, summer holidays etc..skip was a bit of an eye sore but you know what its like when you just dont get around to making phone calls... Finally 10 weeks after initial hire, we decided to have another skip so I called to ask them to take it away & give us a new one, debit card at the ready.. I was then told I owed 205 rental!... When i complained I was just told that it was mentioned in the paperwork that it is up to me to make the phone call to collect. I was told quite rudely that I had signed the paperwork so I had to pay. I asked why they didn't send me a reminder and was told that they are far too busy to do that. I was about to order another skip as well, unbelievable , bad customer service. I WONT BE USING THEM AGAIN !!

Customer service over the telephone on both occasions was brilliant, and both times the lady dropped and picked up the skip, she was very polite, cheerful and helpful. Would definitely recommend this company for value for money and great customer service 👍
