I live next door to Village Food Centre, and it has been my go-to place for quality groceries and meats. The staff here are absolutely amazing, always going out of their way to help. Whether I’m struggling to find a specific product or need recommendations, they are always patient and courteous. Their knowledge about the products in-store is impressive, and they ensure I leave with exactly what I need.

The butchers are a standout! They take the time to understand what I’m looking for and guide me in choosing the best cuts of meat, offering great advice on quality and preparation. Their expertise and willingness to help make shopping here an easy and enjoyable experience.

The store is always clean, well-organized, and stocked with fresh produce and items. I feel lucky to have such a fantastic place right next door. Highly recommended for anyone who values excellent service and top-quality products!

The store opening hours, location and wide range of middle eastern products make it a very ideal place for grocery shopping. The female sales rep in the morning, I think her name is Dana (not sure) is very friendly, kind and helpful. The green eye lady is also very friendly but the other girl in the evening is incredibly arrogant. The young guy working on the shelves at night, people from pastry and bread part are also very friendly. Never dealt with the butcher so no comment on that. So I give it a 4 star.

Amazing! Me and my family call this shop Turkish/Asian and for a reason. Here you can find Asian food that you cannot find in any normal British stores. The staff is very nice! I was surprised when I saw their Turkish bread etc. Even though I don't eat it it smelled so nice. I come back there every week and definitely will in the future!

Every visit is positive. The meat, fruit and veg, bread etc all good quality. The staff are VERY friendly and helpful. Lovely butchers, floor staff and cashiers.

Have shopped here a few times and noticed how the staff speaking to eachother and barely acknowledging the customers.

Today, the staff member (didn't catch a name, but had bright red lipstick) switched tills as I was queued up at her till, ignoring me completely. I was waiting for some kind of instruction or eye contact but she continued to serve the next customer on a different till. The staff are very impolite and ill mannered (lack of basic the customer service). When asked why she hadn't asked me to move across as I was next in line on the original till, she replied- "it's ok". Actually, it wasn't ok.

Decided not to continue with my purchase and left, without my basket of goods, as clearly this shop does not want all custom or business.

My recommendation is to train your staff better.

Since management has changed the layout of the shop is very strange and doesn’t flow as well. The range of food is great but customer service from the staff at the till can improve, acknowledging the customer even slightly goes a long way.

I’ve had multiple disappointing experiences at Village Food Centre, particularly with the butcher.
On more than one occasion, I noticed that they weigh the meat with the container, which is not a standard practice.
It happened to me at least twice, and it felt very misleading and unfair.
This is not how business should be conducted.
Very disappointed and won’t be returning.

Rude cashiers with such bad attitude. specially the lady who has done the noise job with the plaster on it.
