We have purchased a few hens and cockerals from Claudia over the years and they're always lovely, confident, healthy and well handled. Claudia has a fabulous set up and you can see that the chickens live wonderful lives whilst with her. Claudia's chicken/bantam keeping course is very enjoyable and informative afternoon, set in a beautiful location in rural Hertfordshire - also really easily accessible from London (nearest town Bishop's Stortford - 10 mins drive). Claudia's passion shines through in her presentation and teachings - she is very good at explaining any problems that you might incur while keeping chickens, as well offering essential advice on keeping chickens - what kind of chicken hatch to buy - the pros and cons of plastic/wooden homes etc or what to do if they have any illnesses. A great family day out too, the four of us very much enjoyed listening to Claudia and meeting all the gorgeous bantams! To top it all off Claudia also treated us to homemade cake and a cup of tea to finish which was a lovely surprise. Thanks to Claudia I feel very prepared to look after chickens or bantams - her approachable and friendly nature meant it was very easy to ask questions - and as she said no question is ever too silly! A great afternoon for anybody whether you own chickens or just want the opportunity to meet lots of different breeds! Thank you Claudia!

I have met several poultry breeders who are passionate about their work over the years, but none more so than Claudia. She has created a first class environment and an excellent flock of birds. I can't imagine she would let a first time chicken keeper leave without all the right help and understanding and she provides lovely birds for sale. We will be back for more.

Sadly the three young chicks we got from Audley End are seemingly incapable of ever integrating thanks to being unbelievably nervous. In twenty years of keeping poultry including rescuing many many ex-battery hens I’ve never come across three such timid, socially hopeless birds.
