As a company that prides itself on professionalism and maintaining a safe, welcoming environment, Aquavista should be aware of the negative impact the new manager's actions are having on the community at Trinity Marina.

Do not assume you are safe and welcome here at any cost—you are merely seen as walking ££.

Based on the reviews, the same issues persist:

- The broken main gate makes the site insecure.
- Members of the public have free access to the site.
- Showers back up when in use, making "bring your own wellies" a necessity.
- Toilets and door locks are broken.
- The car park floods after a downpour, requiring a day boat to navigate it.
- The manager is unapproachable, with a reputation for heavy drinking and an attitude like a bulldog chewing a wasp.
- If you are a heavy drinker and love to party, D pontoon is the local spot for you loud music playing nightly.
- If your face fits, you will be fine here, however if it does not then they will kick you off.

It is imperative that immediate steps be taken to address these issues and restore a sense of safety and privacy for all residents.

Popped in too buy bags of coal and gas but very expensive. If youre a boater i would recommend you go elsewhere like Ashby hire boats who are alot cheaper .

Extremely friendly and helpful - both Sammy and Simon are great. In fact everyone is very friendly and as continuous cruisers they really looked after us. Great laundry and showers as well. Highly recommend stopping off here when on the Ashby Canal.

Big improvement. Seem to have a new manager who is much more friendly and helpful. Chandlery is still empty, but they have Excel fuel and diesel and pump out available.

Made really welcome initially for a one day stay then decided to stay a second. Max showed the location of the berth and all the facilities which as a visitor we could use. The nearby boaters were on the jetty to assist and welcome us which was of course helpful and friendly. Max and Simon in their ever friendly helpful way were there to assist as we went around to the service berth to use the pump out facility. Thanks to you both and all the boaters we met for a pleasant stay. We'll be back.
Max signed envelope still sealed!!!
NB. A Frayed Knot

Lovely marina. We stopped for diesel and toilet pump out. Staff chatty and very helpful, we had bit of trouble getting the turn in but were assisted by staff. Not as much in the shop as I hoped, no food items, which would have been helpful to us as there aren't many shops on the Ashby. Overall a nice place to visit.

As a single female, I am always apprehensive of approaching unknown marinas. Trinity however was a joy to visit.

I had heard through the boating grapevine, the previous staff, a few months ago, were both awkward and unpleasant causing unnecessary tension at the marina and making any visits unpleasant. However, all staff now, including Harbour masters, office staff and management are both understanding and extreme helpful. Very approachable and polite. Nothing is too much trouble.

The facilities are well maintained, the toilets are clean and the marina grounds are neat and tidy, with nicely mowed lawns and well kept flower/vegetable beds.

The boaters lounge is an added bonus with a very comfortable settee, radio and coffee machine, not forgetting the conversations you can have with the caring staff and fellow boaters. An ideal location for meeting with friends before heading out.
All in all, with picturesque surroundings, an environment that is applaudable and people who make the visit worthy of 5 stars, I will be returning again. Well done Aquavista...a pleasurable experience. 👍

An Aquavista marina. Since being taken over by Aquavista, standards have dropped significantly. Understaffed, the shop is open for around 15 hours a week.
The manager doesn't seem to care about the moorers, condescending, sarcastic replies to queries being his staple.
Emailing customer services sees emails sent back to the manager.
Washing machines don't wash clothes properly, driers are dirty. Showers are cold with poor water pressure.
"Secure" moorings are a joke, the main gate breaks down every other week.
Aquavista, as a company, should be ensuring all advertised facilities are in good working order, not just leaving it to the manager to become swamped with problems.
Residential moorers have had their post sent back to sender, despite receiving post being a benefit of being residential.
